I think it was parked in 1982. We pulled it out in september '07, rebuilt all the mechanicals and took it from arkansas to miami for a bus show the first of november. Three years and thousands of miles later its about time to go through it again!
This was my Grandfathers Van, who was the original owner of The Land of Kong. My Dad rebuilt the engine in this van and we drove it from Utah out to Arkansas for my Grandfather. His name was Ken Childs. It was in about 1982. I was 6 years old. I still remember the trip.

I saw that bus sitting out front several years ago. It didn't look as if it had moved recently. Good to see it is up and running.
