Wow thats a big stadium! How many seats does it contain? It looks just as big as a soccer(football) stadium.

it fit 56K and was a hybrid stadium, football was played from 1964-1983.

Thats one impressive stadium! Never been big into baseball though. Do you like football(think you call it soccer in the america)? Much more entertaining in my opinion.

Yeah, we call it Soccer here. Really? You find it more entertaining? I'm sorry, but Soccer bores me to death. However, so do many other sports even from here including American Football. I'm not big into sports, but I do enjoy going to a baseball game now and then.

nothin beats the seats we had first row of the upper deck RIGHT behind home plate. doesnt sound good but you can see everything there. we had them for the next to last game at shea where santana had the 2 hitter

Yeah, it's always great fun going to a baseball game. I don't care for watching it on TV that much, I'd much rather watch it live. Something about being there, it's just so much more enjoyable.

its nice to see citi field in the background. The kid, Mike Pelfrey pitched an excellent game. and it was nice to get revenge on lastings milledge when they struck him out late in the game.

I can't believe that Shea Stadium will be no more after this season. It seems like a waste to me because the stadium still looks like it's in great shape. But I'm sure the new stadium will blow Shea away. The only other thing I'm not crazy about is that it will have less seating from what I was told. I think that sucks, but of course it's all about money. I'm sure the Citi Field will still have a lot more to offer, though. I'm just glad I got the chance to see Shea one last time.

I LOVE baseball and have never been to a professional game. All we have here in Utah is AAA baseball and I go all the time. Oh, we do have the Utah Jazz and I can't stand basketball.

Baseball is awesome. I'm not a big sports person, but I do enjoy going to baseball games. Always great fun. I hope you get the chance to get to a professional game, it's quite an experience being there and seeing it live.
