Lol...I have been building gy6 engines for 5 years and I"m surprised MRP let a few very important steps get missed... Oh and the head bolts should be torqued to 20lbs.. Chain tensionor is spring loaded and needs to be recoiled and held in that position until the mounting screws are snug..release the recoil and it set's its self... Valves should be set @ 4 / 5 thousandths intake /exhaust respectively.

@brokerover head bolts 11 NM, inlet valve and outlet valve 0.10 mm for GY6, and indeed the tensioner must be screwed on first, than the middle bolt with the spring automatically adjust the tensioner with the spring, the guy in the video is doing wrong lol. More engine secrets to make the GY6 go faster, but I won't tell that lol. I have my own scootershop here in the netherlands.
@MartinRacingPerf I'll give you another hint: the stock rear pulley spring is to hard for the 50cc engine to pull through, I always replace is with a 35% less stiffer one, better acceleration and a bit more top speed.
Hi my scooter was working then i changed my piston and piston rings and then put every thing and after this its wont start.could you help me please.its 125 gy6 its looks exacly same like yours
