  • i love to see his videos ,amazing,,,,,,,

  • congrats rjmarrof... your boy will certainly become a tsadik !!

  • B''H

    that is AMAZING!!!

Bless you bechol Ma'aseha, and may you serve as a Ba'al Kore, for many years to come! What a Mitzvah, every Shul needs a reader like you :D

  • Yes, he is REALLY 7. He started reading Torah and Haftara 5 months ago.

You are right 100flyingfish - as I clarified in my message to Gruntig2008, the tefillin are NOT real, they are plastic. I bought them in Baltimore, because my son has attended morning prayers every day for the past 18 months.

Sephardic tradition allows boys 6 years and over to read the Torah and Haftara (except for Parashat Zakhor). In this, we follow the Rambam and Beit Yosef as brought in Shulhan Arukh.

  • Real or not, the kid is adorable!!! :-)

Seems like the next Simcha Levinson!!!

  • is he really 7?

how is he wearing tefilin and reading the torah at that age?

  • @Gruntig2008 the tefillin are fake look at the decoration

  • @100flyingfish why do you say it's fake? it looks quite real to me! which decoration you talking about?

  • @Gruntig2008 I dont know what the sephardic minhagim are, but the shin on the teffillin is painted a diff. color and the retzoo,oss/straps also don't look like the real deal

  • @Gruntig2008 its the yellow shin on the side, they are toy Tefillin...like for practice, and he'll be very comfortable in his real ones once he becomes a Bar Mitzva now haha
