I have this for ps2, and when I get to the bottom there is no block next to the whirlpool, I have gone back to previous saves and even started the game from scratch, how do i get the block to appear next to the whirlpool?

Once you have the water running, do you know how to stop it and make it disappear, because i didn't open all the chests on the bottom. I have the skeleton key, but I can't find the chest and omg i don't know how you made the bride go up. It won't go up on mine =(
