One of the reasons why Big Brown didn't win the Belmont was because one of his hooves was injured. His jockey didn't want to hurt him, so he didn't push him. That's why he came in dead last. I think the jockey was smart because he's worth a lot more being a stud than being dead.
This tour was about an hour. We went in April which is prime breeding season and actually got to witness a live cover breeding with one of the Three Chimney's studs! It was great we were able to see the mare unload, followed her into the teaser barn and experience the workings of that ... and finally met her back in the breeding shed. I was amazed they let us in there during that time. I would have video of that but they asked for us not to video of take pictures of the breeding.

@chevalover06 I was lucky enough to spend time with him before the Belmont and to me, he was a sweetheart! Very polite with the ladies.

Thanks! For Three Chimneys Farm they only charge $5 a tour ... the only catch is you have to book a spot months in advance.
