Ok first off...some of these bands, like System of a Down and Rage Against the Machine are not nu metal. Limp Bizkit should be on this list because they are the only ones who actually stayed with their nu-metal genre instead of being like everybody else who went alternative or completely metal. They stayed true to their passion. Linkin Park definetly needs to be here. And 6/10 of these bands I've never heard of and I LOVE Nu-Metal.

Slipknot is one of my all time favorites and they are definitely one of the most talented, although for some reason Disturbed is my favorite, probably because I've been listening to them the longest and I've heard all of their songs including the bonus ones. system of a Down is awesome too, the meanings and the topics behind a lot of their songs are great, politics, government, war, society, etc.
