I loved this movie as a kid. And because I was older (like 8) I knew the lyrics. And like most kids my age, we also knew about the word "sex" spelled out in the lion king, and when the guy says "dickhead" in the rescuers down under, the penis tower in the little mermaid, and the list goes on. I'm glad they cut it, it does get a little morbid, and the tone of the song changes completely.

I know it's to give more empathy and more of a backstory to him, but at a certain point, it does get quite dark for a children's movie, and enough is given in the first bit.

I know it's all in the message, but I think it's done effectively in the cut version.

But it really is very sad, poor batty :(
