@Samuelohehe Because of the way it stands out at the end, my guess is that its purpose is to sum up the end result of the struggle described in the song. To me it means that he probably had the last word, finally ending it with "you do not need me" instead of giving her the commitment she wanted.

nope, I got it way wrong.

The only juiced guitar is the base. It's Damien running the acoustic through a wah. He's known to use a delay pedal as well to run a loop during songs though I don't see it here.
