Hey kid why not put an inline water powered generator on your house hold water supply and then everytime you turn on a tap you can make current and you can also put seebeck modules (T.E.C.) on you heating ducts that will make a current every time you heat your house or put them on any thing that makes a decent amount of heat... like the toaster or the oven or your cars engine and exaust system.

He is just using the weight of the water as it fills the bottles and ignoring the free inertia offered by the falling water. Just trying to be helpful. ps. this won't work because yes you can produce energy that way but that doesn't mean it will correctly charge a battery, it needs a good charging circuit for that. as they are explaining it the motor is connected directly to the battery, when the battery charges it will discharge through the engine if done this way, so this kid still has a loooong way ahead of him.

@bulletproof2353 the force of the water might not be enough to turn the turbine so making a gear ratio difference can increase the torque to be able to turn it. Well that's my thought anyways

ya... wow and look at 3:08 look at all the water he is wasting at going out the top of the coffee can if he made if tightly sealed it would have more pressure and create more electricity and then he could have his so called "invention" face perpendicularly to the house... it seems really flimsy though, you could make that in 5 minutes at least try to make it use all the water to power the waterwheel by using better fins or whatever they are called

that diagram they did of how that thing works is stupid there was no circuit board to prevent the power from the battrey going to the motor so basically when you attach it to the battery the battery will run the motor instead of the motor charging the battery...you need a circuitry board to prevent the flow from going to the motor this design is bullshit
