I don't get how filmmakers make a close up shot fall fluidly into place with the part done by a stunt person.

When I was watching the show where my friend has a chandelier fall on him, it looked exactly like the same person to me. The close up AND the far away shot.

My friend told me about a time he was doing a slapstick scene with his co-star where he ended up hitting his head against his co-star's too hard, knocking him temporarily into a daze.

They both had to go to ER and, while they were waiting to be treated, people kept asking for their autographs.

In another show, they had a stuntman do the part where the chandelier falls on B's character, & B did the close-up shot.

He said he thanked the stuntman profusely for doing the chandelier fall.
