  • how much i have heard this one, you can't believe it :P

  • This one is epic fight between Nathan and Dracula 2nd Form (Turns into a 1 Big Giant Badass Monster)

  • i demand that Harmony of despair gets Nathan Drake, a new stage, and this song as the stage boss theme !

  • Comment removed

  • this was far the best final boss battle theme from the 3 GBA Castlevania Games...Just epic and the battle (at least for me) was one of the hardest in my whole life!

  • @DevilSoma dude . not to be hating , but you have to be BAD¡¡ to thing this music is greater than the one from aria (i mean graham )

  • @asisin2 im not hating!...anyway thats your opinion, look i love Aria of Sorrow but Circle of The Moon sounds better even when most of the themes are coverts....AOS has a greaaat OST leaded by Michiru Yamane but the Battle Theme againts graham stay short compared to this!....don´t missunderstand me i also think that Aizen Sousuke younger brother ´s battle theme is great too! and you can call me Bad or whatever you wanna but trust me, i know what im talking, i play Castlevania since i had 3!

  • @DevilSoma oh i meant that I didnt try to hate o_o everyone has its opinion , but really its not that great, (Although its greater than HoD which is also good)

  • @asisin2 r we talking about OST or gameplay? (O.o)

  • @DevilSoma OST of course owo

  • this theme was fucking awesome. The final battle with dracula was epic in this game...

  • i used to trigger a bug here, as soon as the battle started if you paused, the music would still play... and... i would just listen.... and hum :D

  • @Hazelminker I used to do that too, lol. I remember I'd watch the cutscene over and over to try to pause it at that one split second before the fight starts....then I'd listen and listen and listen lol

  • @Vyndresh indeed , and i would reset my gba just to get that timing perfect :)

  • Why does the comment talking about GBA sound quality have so many thumbs up? The sound quality is fucking awesome. LISTEN TO THE DAMN SONG!

  • @sdcc1515

I mean, the audio quality of the GBA is poor, because it was intended to be for a portable device with small speakers. there´s always some hizz and the sound doesn´t "sound" as clean like (for example) the SNES. The song is excellent (I´m making a mario paint version of it)and the instruments samples are good, my only complaint is the audio output quality.

  • If only Castlevania makers will discover the epicness of the "ROFL song"

  • I disagree with adolf because the GBA quality does not sound like shit.

  • Dracula and Death dislike this video

  • This sounds a lil like Once Upon a December from Anastasia

  • Dracula Flings Nathan 30 Yrds Backwards Into The Dark realm arena "Mighty Man?"

  • For some reason this song really reminds me of Arc the Lad 2. Couldn't tell you why.

Awesome song anyway, I could listen to it all day. (:

  • I found Dance of Illusion excellent but i thing it really fits more for a first phase final boss, but this one THIS ONE is uber epic for a final Dracula form

  • KCE Kobe, really did awesome castlevania games. i would love if they make another for ps3 or something.... circle of the moon and CV 64.... really, if castlevania 64 legacy of darkness were longer and have voice acting, it would be my favorite of all time CV, i like very much SotN, but is not my favorite

  • Circle of the Moon was the first Castlevania that I ever played, and it sparked my interest in the series to the point that I've now played HoD, AoS, DoS, SCIV and Symphony of the Night. And of all that I've played, it is my 3rd favourite, but music-wise, only SotN tops it.

  • @TempestDust You and me both, man. Great minds think alike, bwahahah.

  • CotM's ONE original boss theme - and it just so happens to be my2nd favorite Castlevania final boss theme.

  • I lost this game for quite a while but just bought it again today! This song always makes my hair stand. Truly an epic song!

  • This is truly cool but i like dance of illusions more

  • There are plenty of better themes then this... Blood relations, Scarlet Battle soul, Poison mind, Dance of Illusions, Festival of Servants etc...

  • Once you've done this fight a few times it's not that hard. Especially if you get bored and play it again on fighter (after getting even MORE bored and wandering through the arena dozens of times).

I've killed Dracula before the music repeats. XD

  • @GrumpyPhantom whats your advice on the meteors then? those things are what kill me all the time.

  • this had to be the most fitting music to a boss battle ever!!! Such an intense fight

  • I love this theme..XD

  • this one is among the BEST Castlevania musics.

Too bad it's so underrated and unknown.... >.>

  • Check out Dracula's Shadow, a homebrew Simon's Quest-type game. Proof of Blood is remixed as a town song, and done rather well for an amateur MIDI.

  • @FlameAdder - Hmmm, I can definitely imagine a much more relaxed version of this song working as a town theme.

  • It's really a great arrangement. The tempo is the same, but the instrumentation is changed to be more somber than Oh shit Dracula is gonna eat you. Plus there's an extra bit added onto the end.

  • no matter how many times i fight dracula it allways has an epic epic feel to it and this is no exeption

  • this is one of the best battle i ever had,and its was even more epic when i killed him without using any magic.had to hear this musics lots of time to finally see the end though..

  • Dracula has an obscene attack.

I'm workin' on my fighter mode. I'm nott seeing the differences, though...

  • fighter has no magic, but starts with a higher amount of strength and defense... should be noticeable .-.

  • Nathan's hot.

  • best... for originality... it is

  • ...i just dont see why people like this or dance of illusions that much....i think piercing silence off por, festival of servants off sotn, and blood relations owns everything else. infact the only track i liked in this game was clockwork mansion

  • Because we´re talking about the Dracula´s battle themes, not all the Castlevania themes.

BTW, the songs u mentioned are cool :p

  • i think its because people like the game and the music just reminds them of it personally i dont like many of the new castlevanias as much as these old ones

cuz in this you couldnt just cry to vincent for a potion you had to hope an enemy dropped one the challenge was fun and then there was finding all the DSS cards...good times

  • Well dude, everyone has different likes on music, i personally love this theme, sounds epic, a kind of sad and i dunno what else but is a charge of emotions on just 1 track that makes it one of the best

Blood relations is good too, but is like a remake of Beginning from Castlevania Dracula XX (Snes)

  • damn, the 2nd form of Dracula was a bastard in this game. this music is appropriate in that it suits the difficult and dark atmosphere.

  • Many years ago I could not beat him, but tried very long time. I was very sad (

Music from Castlevsnia one of the best among all video games \m/

  • Well if you ever want/get to give it another shot- Just get the Thunderbird summon and repeatedly fight Lilim (saving often, though at a high level you should be able to kill her in one or two hits with that summon) until you get the Dark Armor, and by the time she drops it you'll have plenty of MP +50% and a +550 armor bonus- plus a lot of lvls. Then just avoid his attacks and spam the cockatrice summon until he dies. It's hard at first but once you get his pattern down it should be pretty easy

  • Apparently, I'm not the only person on this planet who tinks this OWNS dance of illusions.

    And dance of illusions OWNS.

  • This is about on the same level of Dance of Illusions. I think if Konami decided to do with this what they did with Dance of Illusions in Dracula X Chronicles... Man.. It'd be somethin' worth hearin'

  • Absolutely not the only one, mate. I love this track!

    Greetings,

    Rick.

  • best game ever i lost my childhood and good eyes for this shit in midschool playing under table time elapsed 99 hours

  • Everyone, I've uploaded the great Rock Remix of this tune. Check the video response, you'll love it.

  • Proof of Blood and Banquet of Madness are the best final boss musics in Castlevania.

I kind of like the music in Curse of Darkness when you fight the 1st form of Dracula....so dark >:D

  • i think the part in the background is annoying

  • Yes, it's the best boss tune!! ^_^

  • Circle of the Moon....My fav in the series. Man, I love that game!

  • ah, my... *cleans nose with a handkerchief* such a beautiful song... o.O why did I nosebleed? *sweatdrop*

  • i actualy think that they should do a 3d psp re make of this game just like they did with rondo of blood (its called the dracula x chronicles)

  • nice:)

  • That most likely makes you the clown.

  • Sounds more like a Pirate song to me.

  • lmao, battling moby dick..

  • Or Black Beard.

  • well anyway it's still kick ass

  • That comment was never meant in a negative way.

  • I can't stop listening to this now.

  • me too

  • yeeh its the best dracula batle song EVER XDXDXD

  • The best Final boss theme and probably my favorite Castlevania song, too bad the GBA quality sounds like sh!t, they should remix this song in a future Castlevania

  • @adolfobaez Agreed 100%. Even with the GBA's sound quality, this song still manages to be definitely one of the greatest of all Castlevania themes.

  • @adolfobaez +1 =D

  • @adolfobaez Couldnt agree more there isnt a more fitting song name and a more fitting song than this for a final boss.

  • @adolfobaez Compare it to Harmony of Dissonance quality music... and this one is muuuuuch better.

  • this is the best final dracula music ever

  • I love this so much!

  • music de ouf

  • Oh fuck Dracula fight. Strap on the boots kids cuz here comes the bullshit. HAVE AT YOU! ATATATATATATATATATAT

  • lmao

  • I would like to see a video of someone killing this boss with no DSS. One of the hardest Dracula fights ever!

  • I'm not sure if I used any DSS, but when I first fought this boss, I'm definitley never used any summons. It was one of the hardest 15 - 20 minutes of my life.

  • This is fucking epic. A remix for it in any new Castlevania is already long overdue.

  • I'm at Death right now, the Dragon Zombies really gave me trouble.

  • i also agree with rugterwyper32

  • can this song be downloaded anywhere? i love this song, it sounds almost like a pirate song but...at the same time it's a final battle struggle togeather, forgive me for sounding weird

  • Best Dracula Fight theme, hands down. Fits perfectly for a final battle, and it does own.

  • I like Order of Ecclesia's Dracula theme better.

  • Super song! I love it so much!!!

  • Most underrated Castlevania song EVER.

  • this is truly an epic song ;)

  • It's in the proof.

  • God, the background when you were fighting Dracula was spooky. It was almost 3d. And this music... I was like OMFG? And I died. Lulz.

  • lol nice :P

  • This game was awesome. On the GBA it was so much fun! Too bad is so underrated, but the final battle against Dracula with this piece on the background was really great!

  • The game WAS underrated in my opinion, simply because the GBA didn't have backlight at the time, nor we had a decent emulator to play with.

This is one of my all favorite castlevanias, and simply one of the best in the series! :)

  • Also, most people compared this game too much to Symphony of the Night, without having in consideration that it ran on much superior hardware. I believe this game is superior în comparison to Harmony of Dissonance.

  • Oh... yeah.. it is... I was so depressed with Harmony...

  • Well, it was also attacked for being too dark and...dull. On the other hand, you have the rainbow palace(s) that is Harmony of Dissonance.

  • True, it was too dark when GBA didn't have backlight.

There is no such problem today, isn't it?

BTW, whoever said this game is "dull" is not a good reviewer...nor a good gamer :)

  • Actually, the game itself wasn't dull, it was the general atmosphere (i.e. the castle itself). One described the CotM castle as being "the world's greatest brick exhibition".

And no, there isn't such a problem in the DS games. Dawn of Sorrow has skittish quality (stunning in some areas, irreparably dull in others), the entire left half of Portrait's castle was monochrome, Order of Ecclesia was alright but suffers the recycling problem that Portrait had, but none of them were dark or anything.
