I personally love this move and in very good at using the off hand off of the move (left hand) however, when I was working on it my grandfather (who's has years of basketball experience) told me it was a walk. I see it in the NBA all the time with no call, but he says highschool officials will call it. Walk yes or no and why?

he said that it really isnt to get his man to bite for it or jump but it helps him square his body up for the shot

thats why he always make those crazy ass contested shots

i think everyone plays differently regardless of the position they play. You can tell. But thats the beauty of this game. Take Kobe or Michael Jordan those are really the only guards i think that have a basically perfected All-Around game.
