  • Any info on getting this done in Ireland if ur over 18 am 19 n really need this.

  • If you live in canada it is completley free if you are under 18 because O-hip covers it

  • dude how much does this cost? atleast 4 gs dosent it?

  • nice mayne! you looked great before though too! I definitely like your results

  • Im still waiting to get an ear job, and tbh your ears looked fine before.

  • Looks good. I hear this type thing can go wrong very easy. One ear can be off and a little and a little is noticeable. Yours look good, so good for you.

  • Who did your surgery?

  • i got mine done with NHSGGAC so mine was free.

  • It's the little things that you notice about yourself, I'm Just waiting to get the bandages off I'm so excited! Your surgeon did a great job. you look great!

  • aerodynamic ... do you run faster now, y'know ... less drag? lol.

  • They Look better! I need mine done! but idk if I can afford it I was told the procedure costs between 3000-6000$ !:(

  • your ears looked normal before the procedure, but i guess the surgery made it even better!

  • i want this done so badly i get bullied because my ears stick out:( how long do you have to leave the bandage on for?

  • @Chels553 The bandage stays on for 1 week. If you live in outside the UK, the procedure is expensive. However if you are a British Citizen you can get it done for free with the NHS...

After the bandage comes off you need to wear an Ear Band-it when you go to sleep for around 6 weeks.

  • I honestly liked your ears before hand.

I'm looking at getting otoplasty done, however, I don't need my ears pinned back, I am hoping they can actually change the size of the ear...

  • Glad it worked out ok for u

I got mine done yesterday n the bandage is so uncomfortable n it's impossible to sleep in ......hopefully it's worth it xx

  • This might sound kind of gay but I think it was a good idea for you to get that surgery because you're quite handsome and your ears (as you had them before) took attention away from your face.

  • how long did you were it?

  • Your surgery came out great! itsgood they pulled the ears back far enough. I had mine done a long time ago, but the surgeon didn't pull them back enough

and I had to have them redone. That was over twenty years ago.It was one of the best things I ever did for myself. It is so great to be able to cut my hair any way I want without having to worry how my ears will look.

  • i wanna do this otoplasty thing.. my ears are far worse.. but im scurred!! 0.o

  • @Athens00

I just had one done....its trippy when they knock you out. They give you medicine, your body feels like its turning into a luquid, you pass out, when you wake up its all done. Had my done today and currently in bandages. It's not hurting that much, and the nurses we really nice.

I'm 14 and my ears really stuck out. It'll be a few days before i can take off these bandages I guess. Dont be afraid. =)

  • @Athens00 Dont be afraid. The surgeon does all the work you just have to lay there. Just be sure you communicate to the doctor about how far you want them pulled back. Very often they don't pull them back far enough.

  • @jonjoseph1 yeah thats true.. if the surgeon doesnt do mine properly im just gonna punch him in the face.. lol

the problem i have here is i live in Canada and to do otoplasty its expensive.. almost 6,000 dollars is the price i got from one plastic surgeon, im going to go to another one for a second opinion and price. but then again the first surgeon was recommended by my doctor. It's the price and the Trust that i have issues with.

  • @Athens00 I wonder if this surgery could be done in some less expensive place like some carribean country, or even India. Even with the travel expense it could be much cheaper.

  • @jonjoseph1 dude im goin to LITHUANIA next month to get mine done for 450 euros, im from ireland and im flying over. (and not on my ears hahaha) in ireland iwhere im from its 4050 euros in a clinic in dublin but in KAUNAS in lithuainia its 450. try europe for the cheapest rates.

  • @jonjoseph1 yeah possibly.. i checked it out.. and im gonna just save up and do it in canada.. no way im going to travel long distances for that stuff lol.. not worth it..

  • @jonjoseph1 There a number of good plastic surgeons in Mexico who do it for around 1500 USD. I'm thinking of having it done myself. How much down time is expected?

  • @jason101other I had the bandage on for almost two weeks. At first I was a little shy about going out with my head all wrapped up, but after awile I got use to it and started to enjoy some of the attention I was getting. The advise I give every one is to communicate with the doctor about how far you want your ears pulled back. I had to have mine redone because they still stuck out more than I wanted. I had mine done years ago and it was one of the best things I ever did for myself. Good Luck

  • OMG lucky! I wanna get this done before I go to college this year, im even willing to get a full time job at mcdonalds lol, your results look GREAT!

  • I got mine done 2 days ago.The bandage is driving me mad.

  • When i saw you bandaged up i felt bad for you since when i was bandaged like that it ws so uncomfortable.

  • Hey I'm male and I've had long hair now for about 8 years due to my ear's sticking out, about as much as your's did, but I can't bare looking in the mirror and seeing them stickout, I'm so self concious and I want short hair again, mainly because I get called an emo or what ever with long hair and also, it look's tidyer with short hair. I am really wanting to get this done, I'm 18 and I don't have any money, do you know if this can be done free under the NHS?

  • @d0m0natrix I know exactly how you feel. I was in the same situation you were in. I had long hair but wanted it short. I also didn't have any money, so I went to a hospital plastic surgery clinic and was operated on by surgeons in residence. I didn't have to pay the doctor anything but I did have to pay the hospital cost. Several years later I had it redone because the surgeon didn't pull them back far enough. Save your money and have it done. You wont regret it

  • i like it alot, although it didnt look like to much of a differnce but i know how it is any littel thing that you diss like about your slef you wish you could change and for that you did,i really hope your happy waking up every morning becuase doing something like this could really change the way you are forever, only for the better that is:)

  • Ive just gotten mine done and it was completly free!

  • I would like to know, if you get more attention from sexy women and women in general after having your ears pinned back or is there hardly any difference at all ? i have big ears and have often thought i'd get more girls if I had it done.

  • looks good man. i want to get mine done but i don't know how to bring it up w. my parents

  • @leftyman94 Say it makes you self concious, you get called names etc....

  • @leftyman94 i thought that with mine every1 thought i was crazy lol but when they realised how much it bothered me they were like well, if its wat u really want go for it.

i have a massive phobia of hospitals an needles so if i can get it done any1 can!

  • @leftyman94 I know how you feel. I had the same problem, and was never able to buring up the subject with my parents. I eventually had the surgery but not until I was in my mid-twenties. Good luck.

  • Wow.. when I saw the b4 pic I was thinking "his ears dont stick out" I think you look great either way.. looks like the otoplasty was a success! I have been wanting to have this done since I was a kid.. always got picked on and I hate not being able to tie my hair back like all the other chicks.. one day I'll have the $3000 it takes to get it done

  • Wow.. when I saw the b4 pic I was thinking "his ears dont stick out" I think you look great either way.. looks like the otoplasty was a success! • How much did it cost? I can fly with my ears lol

  • wow your ears were not big at alllll stop wasting ur money !!

  • Your ears are phantastic!

  • u really look great man now... did you get put to sleep or did u just get it done by being awake and numbing the area?

  • Your ears look great. Seriously thinking of getting my ears pinned back. I dont like the way they stick out.. Family tell me i dont need to but it would make me feel so much beter

  • its really gud. hw much was it?

  • I just had mine done on monday morning its now friday noon and my ears are still numb and purple when will they feel normal like back then when I could move them and everything ? lol yours look great btw they did a great job on you . I hope mine look okay once the swelling goes down

  • I had mine done 2 weeks ago wednesday I get my bandage off tomorrow. I had mine done local so I was awake. ( I prefer being awake as my life changes lol) Anyways if anyone has questions about operation or post op feel free to ask. Worst part for me was definitely the bandage, I also probably suffered from more pain than most because I am quite pain tolerant and never like taking pain killers but in this case it was a must for atleast the first 5 days lol. Anyways will be sure to update on result

  • Er...why did you do this? You actually looked fine before.

  • dude imma get this surgery its bad ass nd has major effects

  • I had one ear much worse than the other. Had it done by Anthony Erian (google him). Cost is slighly more than half cost of both ears. Op result was not what I hoped for (anyone wants details mail me). Mr Erian was sympathetic and agreed to carry out another procedure foc in 12 mths where he created a crease (missing in my bad ear). Great result this time! I doubt you would have that care abroad! That was 15 years ago. I still have 1 deep stitch but you hardly see it at the back of my ear.

  • I was just wondering how long do you have to keep the bandages on for?

  • @Butteryjam

I wore mine 10 days all day and after that month at sleeping only!

  • @Butteryjam 1 week that was probably the worst part lol mine didnt go under my chin though it was wrapped around like a beanie

  • looks awesome i had mine done 2 weeks ago.

nobody even noticed mine i just did it to make myself feel better. i think thats the right reason to have something like this done, for yourself

  • one of the best comments iv seen on here. nice one!

  • @xxxkingforadayxxx

I totally agree with You - Ive done it to - and nobody noticed :D

  • @xxxkingforadayxxx are you happy with your results? i'm in a smilar situation - nobody ever comments on mine but i'd like to get it done myself - mine aren't hugely noticiable but they are alittle larger than i'd like

  • @eoinm400 i would definately have it done again! best thing i did. if i can have it done anyone can im the most squeemish person going, i cant even have a blood test lol. thing i was most worried about was the needle before but as soon as they put it in i was out. the worst thing about getting it done was having the bandage on for a week after, very annoying. if they bother you and you can afford it, get it done. you wont regret it!

  • @xxxkingforadayxxx Im getting mine done because I got bullied :(.

  • @Greg21240 lol wow really? like a little tease once in a while like "hey its dumbo" thats not bad at all, just laugh at urself and it wont be so serious, if there like physically punching you or seriously making fun of you, just go with it, it'll most likely wear off eventually, thats why ppl bully, to make themselves feel better, and to make others feel awkward, im gonna get mine done hopefully,

  • @Maper555 The proble mwith mine was I had one ear normal and one that stuck really far out, think i got a little bit mopre abuse that the normal person, I did just laugh it off but inside it destroyed me.

  • @Greg21240 me too i only had one that stuck out but they did somethin to the other to match em up a bit more

  • @Greg21240 aww people like that r just idoits making fun of other people to hide there own insecurities. but if you realy want to get them done do it you wont regret it.

  • @xxxkingforadayxxx Got it done last thursday :) sitting here in those itchy bandages now :( get them off in two days mind.

  • @Greg21240 haha i bet ur glad to get them off! that was the worst part!

  • @xxxkingforadayxxx Yup i hated the badage, so itchy :( but yeah im glad its off and im happy with the result XD.

  • if any one wants to ask my anything can they send me, private message, please as i cant keep track, and it cost me £2800 thanks all

  • dude where did u have them done

  • This guy spent thousands of dollars and his ears didn't even look bad. Now it barely looks like he has ears at all.

  • @levidapyro he looks better with ears like that

    You look better.

  • dude... u looked normal before... my goodness mate what wud u say for me!!

  • i want to get one done so bad. but what are the cost of an otoplasty. i hope there are not too expensive.

    please man let me know

  • @damudino05 mine was about 2500 with the hospital group they r great!

  • Hey just wanner say it's been about a year and a half since I got this done and a feel great! I'm a walking stud muffin lol, if any 1 has any questions. Rite to me personnal. And thanks 4 all the nice comments!

  • dude im gettin mine done soon.... do u have any regrets of doin it???

  • I am currently in my bandage right now mate as we type. Got it done 2 days ago, the pain has gone down abit, and its just starting to get really itchy. I went back to the hospital yesterday to get it re-bandaged as my left ear started bleeding so needed to check no stitches had come out, its all ok.

I did manage to catch a glimpse in the reflection of the window when they re-bandaged it. They look good, my one ear looks abit weird though and sticks out abit, I am hoping it is just swollen.

  • @VoteBNP omg i know the worst part is the bandage! it kill when you sleep on it!

     mines still swollen lol

  • @xxxkingforadayxxx

Hey, yes its a month since I had it done and I don't even notice them anymore. The pain has gone, but it still can twinge abit when you sleep on it. Still wearing a head band when I go to sleep.

I was also pleased because most of my friends did not even notice. I just feel better and less concious about them now, so is all good. I just hope they don't pop back out Lol :D

  • @offkeychris123 Hey are you in the us or uk how much was this and would the price be halfed if it was only one ear.

  • @offkeychris123 you also look better mate :)

  • your ears were fine before :S waist of money if you asked me, but hey if they bothered you then who cares

  • Yuo has super ears after otoplasty! More ear videos!

  • looks great :) wish i had the gutts to do that

  • i think you shouldnt have done Otoplasty you look verry cute before

  • hey mate...what did your ears look like when you had the pressure bandages removed? had mine taken off yesterday and i was fucking shocked, not what i was expecting at all, im hoping they will look totally different when the swelling goes down and they relax..but man i dunno!! i didnt see the surgeon it was the nurse and she didnt know her arse from her elbow....if you can answer this question please or anyone else for that matter...nice one

  • dont worry urself mate, i got mine done, took off the bandages and was like o shit what the fuck have i dont, i look like bat fink! the cartledge takes a few months to fully heal and rest into its final place, at first they will seem close to the head but will relax when the swelling goes down, i got a video too if ya want to look! hope u feel better now!

  • how is it now ? Better ?

  • I seriously think you look good both ways; I wouldn't think you had a reason to get otoplasty.

  • i hope u answer back to this but

does it stay that way? like if someone pulls ur ear will it pop out again? er damage it..do u have to wear a pin all the time or something?

  • wow. um.. no. its called surgery. aka: permanent. deee da deeee.

  • Wow um fuck you i have friends and a life aka: you dont so fuck you deee da deee nerd

  • even though I don't believe that, one thing you seem to be lacking is common sense... :/ yea its a metal pin you just stick into your skull through your ear and take it in and out as you please. Yeah, that seems realistic.

  • oviously u seem to be an uptight air head dipsy little slut just shut up sorry im not perfect as you think you must be because i dont know everyone like you do fuck head

  • some kids have it really bad urs isnt that bad lol

  • I think you looked sexy in two different ways. When the ears were out you look like a cute little kid. When they were back you look devilish. Cute either way.

  • it is expensive,i had the operation yesterday and when my years are done i will make a video :D

  • looks better dude

  • I have a few questions. What is the procedure for the surgery, how much does it roughly cost, and what do your ears actually feel like before and after, like, is your hearing affected in the slightest? If anyone could help please, im 16 considering getting it done.

  • You look dude(not gay by the way LOL)

You look good b4 too but everyone has there idea of themselfs.

Im getting it done this year and Im 38. I just lost my job cause I got into a fight with a stupid little kid that I heard making fun of me behind my back so I confronted him and knocked him out cold. I got arrested too.

    Im happy for you man

  • hi, how long did you have to put those bandages on your head for? please answer as soon as possiblee ~thanks

  • You look just fine, now, but i think you looked equally fine before the pinning. Methinks you were goaded into it by some churlish friends.

  • how much did it cost???

  • how much this sergery cost in your country?

  • i had the surgery yesterday and boy does it burn..may i recommend having sum paracetamol or pain killers after having the surgery...i cant wait to see wot they look like next week!!!

  • you look way better now, good job and keep going a good work.

P>S> I've had this operation too and i don't regret it.

  • yes your rite! lol

but i also dont need abuse myself for what iv done.

i do respect the fact that everyone has there own opinion.

weather people do or dont understand the fact that they may think that theres hardly any difference before and after,

    i think its immence.

  • And PRESTO!!!!!!........no difference.

  • wow you are an idiot your ears were fine before you didnt even need the surgery

  • Before your ears didnt look that big to me

  • OMG U Iook A IOT IiKE Iiev

  • hi, i had the same procedure 2 months back. I asked my surgeon if it's safe to stop wearing headband at night when i'm sleeping and he said my ears are strong enough already. But somehow I'm still afraid of possible springing back . So, i'm asking you as a patient yourself if you did stop wearing headband after 2 months? Were your ears really that strong that they could withstand any sort of bending while you are sleeping? thanks a lot.

  • Nice One You Look So Much Better! (No Homo) Had Mine Done Today Under Local Aneasthetic, Such A Weird Senstatoin, You Can "HEAR" The Blade Slicing Your Cartildigge I Was So Scared About Having It Done My Ears HAve Congenital Batty, Infact: A Very Rare Case Of Excess Cartilidge I Had Francis Peart, South AfricanBest In The Uk. Top Dog He Is But My Ears Are Really Really Sore And Im On Pain Killers! Is This Normal? Pm Me, Or Respond Comment Thanks For Reading!!!
  • i'm on painkillers too bro, it's normal to be on painkillers after you have your ears cut open and cartilage taken out bro.

  • I had mine done and i had to wear the same god damn bandage. but it was well worth it!!!!

  • I'm 14 and im considering having it.

  • its free if your under 16 at tha NHS!

  • really cause i asked and it was not free anymore apartently

  • yh really! i had mine done the day before yesterday 4 free nd im 14! its painful but if your ears are making you feel depressed then its totally worth it! dont wait tho if you want them done because if your over 16 you have to pay!

  • under 14 i think. oh and if any1 wants to know yes i did have sum cartilaige taken out, it was painful but it was worth it.

  • same! does it hurt when they take the bandage off??

  • i just had my ears done a day ago. how long do i have to wear my bandages? also how long does it take for a full recovery?

  • hey man your results look awesome. You were good looking before but now you look really great. I'd like to ask you a few questions cause I'm hoping to get this procedure myself. Do you know what method your doctor used? Was it painful? How long before you could wash behind your ears and do everything normally again? Are there any long term consequence? Sorry for the barrage of questions but I'm a bit nervous about it. Thanks man and congrats.

  • How much did this cost you and where did you get it done at

  • I don't think that there was anything wrong with them to begin with, but as long as you are happy with them that's the main thing. My fiance wants his done. Even though he is very handsome he has one ear which sticks out a bit more than the other and is a bit self conscious about it..

  • Yeah man! Good job! Have a look at mine!

  • cool

  • No offense but they looked fine be4 mine are like yours be4 but not as big

  • ur like tab and lobes still point out lool im getting my tabs the top bit of ear pinned back

  • u look gr8. =]

  • i have big ears you know a lot bigger than that but tbh i want what you got done but i just couldnt people i know would judge me and people would still look at me the same i think people i knew that is .

  • much better

  • im thinking of getting my ears done how much did you pay and how long did it take from the first phone call enquiring until the complete healing of your ears?

  • im not trying to be rude man but you look the exact same..

  • My daughter is currently in bandages from this procedure. You should consider seeing your surgeon about a touch-up procedure just on the top portion of the ear.

  • yeah your rite, to be honest what a lot of people dont realise about this is altho im happy iv got it done obviously as its changed my life, but im not actualy happy with the shape of them still, it depends on perfection. if you care about somthing so much u will always judge it, i will talk to the surgeon

  • hey what did everyone you knew think of you getting your ears pinned back? i dunno but i'd hate to be badly judged by people in general if i was to get it done..

  • You said you'd hate to be judged by other people by getting the surgery. If you do it to please other people that is pretty fucked up!! Do it for you, you're always being judged under your knowledge or not?!

  • Hi I am currently in recovery from Oto surgery- 48hrs into recovery. I must say (maybe cause Im a girl 23yrs of age) but I had ALOT of discomfort in the 1st 24hrs! The bandage drove me crazy couldnt sleep I couldnt hear anything through the bandages etc. Quite difficult expirience. My point is it is not such a "simple" procedure. The surgeon cuts away cartilage- or in my case a less invasive laser was used. In conclusion to anyone considering this op BE PREPARED its no walk in the park ;s

  • Totally agree with you, the operation itself is walk in the park but the recovery is not. The bandages are kept from 5 to 7 days but it varies, it's hard to sleep, feels like your head is gonna crush, and you only sleep on back of you head all time which is so hard. Then first 2 days ears are burning and it's quite painful

  • By the way, i had otoplasty when i was young and they totally FUCKED UP my ears, now an earlobe sticks out more than the other and my two ears dont even look the same.... fucking bullshit im even more insecure now

  • dude you didn't even need otoplasty you looked totally fine

  • looks good m8. i hoping to have it done soon, going to see the specialist soon. wat did every1 say when u told them u was having it done? im havin mixed repsonses sayin i look alright now but theyre used to wat i look like and im concious of my ears. wb cheers

  • are you serious? you looked fine before. Otoplasty is for bigger ears..

    spoiled ass brat

  • its not how u look its how you feel.

i worked hard to save up the money for this so im deffently not spoiled, u tit!

  • Chris, that comment was off-key

  • You called him a spoiled ass brat? Is that not off key then???

  • relax, relax...it was just word-play

  • Yes I realised that after I posted my comment! Ignore me Im blonde! hehe

  • :) .

  • I rekon you looked fine before. After is ok too but I don't think it looks natural. Maybe back a bit too far.
