Well, no luck for Jacques and Peugeot this time, but in 2008 he'd come back to come 2nd overall just a minute behind the winning Audi, so he's still no slouch! I wouldn't be surprised to see him back with the Peugeot team very soon to try and nab that victory.
NASCAR (type fault ?) is not all the year and they have enough replacements for a weekend I think. Anyway Triple Crown is more worth then a race extra at NASCAR
I'm not crazy about it either although I have 2 friends with diesel trucks, a Ford and a Dodge. The Dodge guy has over 350K miles on his without any major problems. The Ford guy has over 400K miles. The fuel is a natural engine lube, and the mpg is pretty good. Don't think it's quite ready to be used as a primary racing fuel but it seems they're working on it. Burns more efficiantly than gas.
That's right. What I don't like with non-racing diesel is that you see too many cars with bad engine setting and they smoke black and bad. And the noise of diesel street cars can't compare to that of gas.
They are improving on the diesel noise issues. I have an '04 Turbo Diesel and it's fairly loud. For '05 Ford announced a quieter diesel. Mine doesn't smoke at all. With a chip I can add about 100 HP and over 100 ft. Lbs. But I don't care about having an 8300 lb. performance truck. I've seen modded diesel trucks run a 10 sec. 1/4. Check out some of the videos here. Engines are built strong. I'm about 1-2 yrs away from a Z06.
Jacq. did confirm he would be in next year to get his Triple Crown and maybe even back in the Peugot then. But I hope they make the cockpit a bit bigger cause that was really sucking like hell I think !

"Keep an eye out for diesel" is the word, it seems! :)

Evidently, considering Le Mans results.

Jacques Villeneuve, uno dei miei piloti preferiti, un pilota che ha emozionato in F1, dopo la morte di SENNA.uno che non somiglia a nessun altro.
