I'm really a scorpio but they say if you are not sure of your actual time of birth, to use 12pm as a default....and that gives me Capricorn as my rising sign. Is this true?

Hi Veronicaburgess,

No not true! That rule only applies when someone doesn't know their t.o.b. and the astrologer sets up a 'noon' chart simply to get a look at aspects and moon position. But disregard the AC (ascendant) that this produces. there other methods used to rectify a chart but you should work with an astrologer to do this.
