Great technique, excellent proportion for just eyeing it, and I love what you did with the hair. But I was surprised when you started using the softer leads so early on. I tend to smudge all over the place with those! Overall great job; I'm kind of envious!

its all about tonal values, you never just draw a face, you draw shadows created by the face, its harder but you get much more realistic results.

I might put up some little tutorial videos in the future, give me a vote in the competition and i will be more likely :P

I had the same problem, everybody does!

i simply stuck a pivoting wall mount for a computer screen onto the wall and tied a monopod onto it, it works very well, its secure and i can move it around :)

around my desk i put a load of lights to keep it well lit, but i still need to fix things up.
