These kids rock. I've known them since 2000, when I ran sound for them at a church in Galena, Illinois and a few other tri-state concerts. Their dad (from the Bill Monroe days) will be playing stand-up bass on a new bluegrass tune I just penned, but I'm sure these guys would be an even more awesome addition to my demo!
GOD, YOU ALL PUT THE WARMEST SMILE ON MY HEART and FACE. I LOVE YOUR GROOVE, ORIGINALITY AND PATH.........IT'S BEAUTIFUL. LET ME KNOW IF I CAN HELP IN ANY WAY.
I wonder if this is the Lillie Mae that sang "Mule Skinner Blues" as a little girl? It really looks like the same Frankie on guitar except he is even better now. -Jimmy
I've been hunting down live local music for a doccumentary called "is music dead?" Traveling around the world going to places like Hamburg Germany, Kiev Ukraine, Amsterdam Holland, Cincinati Ohio etc... I stopped in Nashville to Visit my best Friend Sam (the bass player) He insisted that I go to a dive bar called the blue grass inn. I'm glad I did!. Jipsi was a sweet pleasure to the ears the eyes and Frank is quite witty.
sub me and when my doccumentary is done you'll see yourselves in it.
I saw you guys in Nashville and now I listen to you all the time. I'm a Illinois musician whose played Rock, Country, & Bluegrass & I just love what you do. Don't stop people will listen. I'm 57 and still play gigs a couple times a week. Play forever, It keeps you young!
Hi! Saw you kids in Nashville at Layla's (Jan 2009) and came back for two complete shows. You were the best most " honest" sound that I heard on music row over the two nights. I wish you only the best! John from Minnesota
My wife and I saw you guys in Nashville at Layla's in September and we had a blast. It was a slow Sunday night on the Strip and we were hopping from venue to venue. You guys caught our ear and eye. We were throughly entertained for the rest of the night. Keep up the good work and keep spreading the great music.
Be sure to check these guys out LIVE!! 5/29 Winfield KS 5/31 Bristow VA 6/4 Waukesha WI 6/6 Nashville TN 6/12 Pryor OK 6/14 Manchester TN 6/22 Ionia MI 6/29 Grand Prarie, AB, CA 7/3 Grapevine TX 7/5 Fort Wayne IN 8/2 Robinsonville MS
Wow. Still together, nice! Haven't seen you guys since 2003? Glad you're all still together. You look and sound great! Sure is a long way from Grey Fox and Wind Gap!
That is so awesome you guys talk about the valley! This is Matthew Munsey! I'm in Nashville now. We need to hook up guys. I hope the best for you all! I'll message you on myspace or something!
Cool.. Musicians playing their own instruments..!! I like the song that's in the middle of the EPK. Sounds really good - kind of reminds me something that Dixie Chicks migh do if they were more intense. Tight harmonies.
Saw you in Nashville twice at Layla's bought your CD when you were Silk & Saddle and you autographed it for me. You had just signed your first contract. "I like the sound of that" and your version of "All My Lovin'" is great. Hope you come to Greensboro, NC soon
Hi, I spent a couple of months in Nashville in 04 (I think), saw you a few times at Layla's, I enjoyed hearing ya. You were the only band that I listened to more than once (as much as I could while I was there, actually). One of you was a little kid at the time, and had (still has) such a voice :) . Frank, Amber Dawn, Scarlett (Cat too), loved your playing.
