  • So I dont get it? The joker not crazy??? He even said this in the movie.

  • @b7r7u7c7e just hates every thing go back to 1:00 minet of this video and you'll see the hint that gives it away

  • Excellent impression of Heath Ledger. :)

  • @prinny081 I originally wrote that for IGN when I worked for them. Wikipedia ripped off me.

  • dude you deserve a voice acting job or something related this is just awsome

  • Knowing that you're not more famous than you are makes me cry

  • THIS IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!! I REALLY ENJOYED IT!!!! DO MORE

  • Sorry to double comment, but I don't fully understnd the ending. I know that Jonny jumped off of the bridge and committed suicide(because he would have died anyway from the bullet wound), but what happened with Joker and Batman? Did Joker stab Batman, or did Batman take Joker back to Arkham?

  • bermejo's art?

  • Are people really serious that this guy is a good joker? Wow all he does is try to copy Heath Ledger and he's deemed a genius. Just wow.

  • I absolutely loved your take on this; the voice, the music, the sinister laugh, everything 's dead on...again, fabulous job. :)

  • your voice is amazing .I fucking like it..... and the laugh is just perfeck. you seriosly have talent.

  • I'M THE GODDAMN BATMAN BITCH

  • I loved your voice acting so much i burned a cd of all these chapters to read along my comic with. It's a little difficult in the middle parts since some parts are out of whack or missing, but it does bring some kind of life to the pages. I've always liked the really cartoony joker's (with the dreadlocks) black guy voice, and yours is like a perfect blend of that and ledgers voice. Kudos to you and keep it up. Btw arkham asylum would be sick too :)

  • I enjoyed your visual graphic novel. u made it comes to life. can u do the batman: arkham asylum too? I think it would be great if u adapt it.

  • the joker in the comic looks like heath ledger's joker

  • why are you not famous?! your joker voice is killer!!!

  • @thebattard08

Thank you so much for the kind words.

I love voice work, acting and singing but it is really

difficult breaking into the biz.. If you have any ideas

on how to make me famous please let me know.

    Again, thank you.

  • this artwork is effing AMAZING!!!

  • ha this is great!! awsome job

  • what is the script you are writing?

I absolutely love the Joker's voice by the way.

  • @BROKENHOUSEFILMS

Sorry it took so long for me to answer your question here.

For the answer check out my other channel "prayfortheplan"

I have a description there of the story I am developing.

  • Fantastic

  • beautiful

  • kickass ... the voice over, music everything!! you made the comic come to life!! man this is pure genious!!! \m/

  • @XxcinnamongirlxX

Thank you for the kind comments...One of these days I hope to do something else like this but right now I am working on a script for something not related to Joker and Batman.

  • I don't know if you take requests man, but I would love to see your take on Alan Moore's The Dark Knight Returns or the sequel.

  • @MildManNerd

I always appreciate requests and suggestions. I am currently trying to come up with something a little less time consuming than an entire comic book but who know?

  • @MildManNerd alan moore didnt make the dark knight returns or the dark knight strikes again, that was frank miller.

    Moore wrote the killing joke.

  • Amazing voice work man, you should really submit some samples to dc animation studios, the new animated comics are really taking off now.

  • @MildManNerd

Thanks for the kind words and the suggestion. I will definitely look into it.

It would be a dream job if I could score something like that!

  • bloody hell! Seiously, you made me look trough this video over and over and over again! O_O one thing to say ; TALENTED

  • geez, man perfect voice!

i really enjoyed the series, great work on everything!

  • that was super-awsome. the voices fit so well. everything its awsome man

    good job!

  • Hmmm... I will be looking forward to that I loved the last Killing Joke thing u did. I just basically mean you should think about doing other characters. Push your way into something else other then Batman. Well do Batman stuff still but sky's the limit on what you could do. As far the the new Batman film I just hope Nolan does not drop the ball. I mean how could he? He made one of the greatest films of all time. I just don't know what they could do realistic wise.

  • I really think you should do more stuff man. If you can do such a difficult voice with the Joker. There's no telling what else you are capable of doing. You can also try and dive into other Batman comics so many great stuff out there. I enjoyed this and would love to hear more fro you. Did you check out all those actors I mentioned? Cause you never got back with me on it I know your busy and all that. Just wanted to know what you really thought.

  • Sorry it took so long to get back to you.

I checked out Micheal Pitt on IMDB and you are right...he would make a great Riddler...something smart-ass about his face! Not sure what I will do on this channel next...very busy with my kids until school starts up again. Oh, I am trying to post a "remastered" version of "The Killing Joke" sometime today.

  • I really don't see Depp doing Riddler honestly. I mean he would do an awesome job. But signing him on would difficult I think. Unless it just so happens that Nolan does not do the next one. And Tim Burton took another crack at making Batman Films. I honestly don't even want Riddler in the next movie. Nor any of the supposed rumored characters that have been on the net lately. I want would like a recreation of Bane as the main villian. Just because they ruined him the first go around.

  • Wow!!! You know what I actually never thought about him. At least until now that you mentioned him. He is a pretty creepy looking guy but I think I got another guy you might like. His name is Micheal Pitt or maybe Casey Affleck? Pitts kinda sort of an unknown he was in The Villiage. And I am sure you know Casey Affleck. Although I think Casey would play a better Riddler personally. But him as Joker could work.

  • Yes, I think Affleck would make a better Riddler although I am one of those fans holding out for Johnny Depp wearing the question marks. Glover would be perfect but even he admits that would be a long shot. He just doesn't play the Hollywood asskiss game like most do to be successful there. I will check out Pitts and let you know what I think about him.

  • Phenomenal voice work! A truly great and different take on the Joker's persona/voice, unique but still menacing.

You kept your vocal pitch distinctive enough to make each character unique, a hard task and one you seemed to do effortlessly. Very impressive.

Would you be open to doing indepedent voice work in the future? I ask because I'm involved in a Batman fanfilm animation. No production has been started at the moment, but I've been asked to keep an eye out for voice talents. =)

  • Thanks Sarah! Since you are in Fort Worth we are basically neighbors!

Yes, I am extremely interested in doing voice work. Send me a message soon so we can hopefully get that ball rolling.

  • Haha. Yea, I noticed you were in Dallas and thought the same thing.

As of right now, there's an edited script, not finalized yet. Pre-production has started but there are still a few kinks to work out. I would love to have your voice as our Joker, but I have to run by the director/producer first; either way, I know we could use your voice in the animation regardless. Also, this is a fanfilm so voice work would be pro bono.

If that's ok with you, let me know. I'll get the ball rolling.

  • ROLL AWAY!

Talk to your producer and get back to me. Money is always nice but I had already figured this would be for the experience. Just keep in touch and let me know if I can help.

  • By the way, another good one to have your producer listen to would be Chapter Six "Tommy Bang Bang."

  • Would you be open to the idea of a recast? Because I used to hate idea of them replacing Heath's performance. But it really isn't replacing what he did honestly. Because what he did was legendary and can't be recreated. But maybe it does not have to be. Maybe there can just be something ok... or maybe someone can do better? Who know's what do u think?

  • I am COMPLETELY open to someone new playing Joker again some day. He is such an iconic character it would be a double loss, first losing Heath, to not bring him back for more films. I am still debating in my mind who would be best to play him but my WILDCARD suggestion would be Crispin Glover...from what we can tell he is already crazy!

  • I truly was amazed by your work!! I have been watching for awhile now. Its really great stuff I love this Novel. It truly show's the raw image that the Joker should have. The side that Heath got very close to showing. Sadly we won't get to see him in any future stuff. But mad props to you I hope you do get some work somewhere. Ill be sure and spread the word about you my friend.

  • Thanks...I agree with your comment about Mr. Ledger. I always imagined this story taking place about five years or even more after The Dark Knight. Therefore Joker would have come out of Arkham a bit older and VERY pissed off!

    Thanks for subscribing as well!

  • I just brought this book and Ioved this interpretation of the joker. He is so dark in it. Your voice is great. You do several voices in this but make each one perfect and different from each other making them authentic.

  • Thanks for noticing the difference in all the voices. And I agree...this is a really cool interpretation of the Joker. I hope someday to be involved in a true animated version of it!

  • I absolutely LOVED your vision and take on this. You brought this to life in a unique way!

  • Thank you so much! That was definitely my intention so I am pleased to know you appreciated it.

  • This was excellent, and after reading the comic front to back it made me realize how great this actually was. Thanks for putting a good purpose to the music.

  • Thank you skateking! I loved utilizing your guitar to emphasize some of the most disturbing moments of this story. So glad you approved!

  • If you need anything else for whateveer series your doing next let me know what your doing and I'll try to come up with something for it again

  • It will probably be a while before I get motivated to do something like this again but thanks, I will definitely call on your talents again!

  • Great job putting it all together! You should go back and redo the first few episodes as a motion comic, if you ever get the chance.

Thanks for putting my music to good use- I'm glad to see it hasn't gone to waste!

  • Again, thanks to you! I could definitely envision your composition being the theme for this entire series.

  • Great job! I actually forgot how long this comic was. I also forgot he killed that little old couple lol. Now I'm sad it's over

    :(

I wish they'd do an entire comic series about the Joker lol. (Heath version of course lol)

Not to be a bother, but do you think you''ll ever do Arkham Asylum a Serious house on serious earth? I've actually never read that one and it would be great to hear you narrate it!

  • Thanks Krys!

You have no idea how much I have appreciated your comments and suggestions throughout all of this!

Some day I will check out that Arkham Asylum story you mentioned. I hear it is great. Just need to take a long if not final break from the Joker.

I am so glad you liked this final part of my adaptation and hope it was everything you hoped it would be. Will send to Mr. Azzarello soon and will let you know how that goes.

    Thanks again,

    Adam

  • No problem! I'm sure he will like it! And I know what you mean about taking a break from the Joker. I've been trying to wean myself off of him, but I keep writing silly Joker fanfiction and I'm going as Harley Quinn for comic con sandiego this year LOL! But I'll get over him soon...really.

I wouldn't want you to take a FINAL break from him though. We fans have to keep J alive! lol. I'm sure I'll like any sort of project you decide to do though. Love your voice acting :)

    Krystal

  • Another amazing job Adam! The music is amazing, hauntingly beautiful. I just love your version of this epic and dark comic. Like I always say it gives me the chills! I'm even afraid to watch it or even touch the book now! The final breath at the ending along with your famous undying laughter in the background echos deep in a person's mind knowing that there's no surviving the Joker. There is no cure for the virus. The infection spreads that you lose control. Oustanding Adam, you are gifted.

  • Thanks Fox!

I wish I had a million people like you interested in this project. You have been an incredible motivator for me and I will always appreciate you for being there for me. I will let you know if anything more happens because of this crazy project.

I hope you are having an incredible summer!

    Adam

  • You know, this ending is great. I just don't imagine Joker to laugh in the end, I mean that's where the hate is, where he is actually psychologically defeaten by Batman. That's one of the reasons the ending is so great. I'm just giving you my honest opinion here. I know you have a lot to do, but I just think you should take your time, take it slow. Don't take away the Dent part, I know you already have, but I think that you shouldn't have done that. Still great though, could have been better.

  • I hear ya tovebox-

The only reason I didn't include the Dent stuff is because I skipped to the end and I felt like it wouldn't make sense for him to just show up. As far as the laugh at the end, I get your point and I agree. The laughter at the very end was really just sort of a parting shot from a great character in a fantastic story. I imagined it totally seperate from the actual story.

Thanks for all your comments and support tovebox. I have truly enjoyed communicating with you.

    Adam

  • You've done a terrific job. I'm pretty sure Brian Azzarello will like your work
