May be a little of a late comment but there was one just before me 5 days ago so I'll mention this anyway for anyone in the future. Once you've clicked convert video to whichever file it may be , right click the downloadhelper button again and click " convertor que " this will show you a status bar with the video you have chosen converting. Would have been helpful for the video to mention this but regardless it's a great tutorial.

How do I know if the video is being converted. All it says in the query is that it's "in progress," but instead of showing me progression, its just a green bar moving left to right. And it's been doing that for 10 minutes.

you can try going to the file the right click it and scroll to "Open With" then go to choose program and open it wih Quicktime Player. & if that does not work than go to an online vid converter.
