@sonntagsfahrerfan12 He's talking sense. But the roll-bars are much stronger these days. But I think that the HANS has saved a lot.

It was learned later that Sauber - and Sauber alone - had used an extra layer of foam to protect their drivers should the rollbar fail. It is for that reason Diniz is still with us today.

hearing Murray Walker makes this video soo much better.
Pedro was very lucky indeed. A month eralier Wouter Van Eeuwijk crashed at the same way and is paralyzed since then.
