Thanks for posting the "original bushcraft mix" video series. You are a true master woodsman and I have learned a lot from your videos.
Mostly what I see of bushcrafting skills in other video is people "acting" like they're surviving and dealing with the outdoors; you LIVE it!
The Discovery Channel should make a television show with you, doing exactly what you're doing here. It would be better (and more true) than anything they have now!
Congrats to Skogniv for fullfilling his prize commitment & of course Fredde. I dislike upside down hanging of knives Fredde. I know lots do it but not me. Too much relying on just a tight fit. Tossdart
when in woods I put my knife under my belt ( the one in birhcbark sheath)... best and traditional way to care it ( at least from a part of Europe I came from ).
well hobbexp welcome to a leatherman multi tooll group owners. It is a wonderful tool... I got mine few years ago and it is still in excellent condition ... And yeah congrats for wining first place on making clay pots! :)
But there is a fine knife blade, very sharp one you can use to cut a wood, then wood saw ( haven't seen smaller but sharper and more efficient ever ), then dimond and another file to sharpen your axe or another eg. mora knife, and nose needle pliers cane come handy in many situations. Only thing I don't like is a grip that is so sharp sometimes that cut in to my palms while cutting some hard wood. Also I haven't found maintenance manual, what oil, how to...
yeah it is a exelent tool, but i can see why carry a expensive multi tool just so i can sharpen my axe with a mini file, when i can put a real fil in my back pack, it have the same weight and it work much much better,
Good to see you, as always its a great vid, the fading out of your self is a cool effect. I work for precision resource in h.b., ca. I make all the dies that they use to fine blank all leather man and other knives. If you ever want to try one our fred, let me know, I can get it for you for free. we are designing a new ultra lite vers. youd love it. keep the vids coming
Nice too see your still alive lol. I agree with not making videos unless you have something good to share. I can always seem to find something that I do to make a few vids a week. i try to keep them at ten mins if I can. 5/5 and congrads on winning
Great work! I thought I had seen all your videos : ) thanks for the sharing! Regards Sepp
