  • LOVE IT!! I got teary-eyed!!

  • Well, Roseann that is the way it is suppose to be sung. Moving, masterful and transcendental. This and the Jose Feliciano version from the 1968 World Series are my favorite versions of a song that is often done without the style or emotion it deserves.

  • @iancastle Guy on scooter was Fred Knittle (RIP). Fabulous guy! Fabulous voice and sense of humor. Rent their DVD...so inspiring!

  • I love the Young @ Heart Chorus! Composed of regular folk who love to sing, pure and simple. Funny, you can understand every single word and the melody is note for note spot on. Why others' (professional artists) who perform our national anthem at major sporting events have to resort to melismas and altering the already beautiful and majestic melody is beyond me. If it ain't broke, why fix it? This video demonstrates that perfectly. Simple arrangement & harmonies - words & melody ring out!

  • RIP Fred Knittle. Rock on, Y@H.
