I decided to give this album a shot and listened from it start to finish on the bus yesterday and now I can't listen to anything else, and can't stop listening to it and Between the Buried and Me is all I can think about. And now I will have to go online and buy Alaska, TGM, and the new EP. Damnit, youtube comments warned me this would happen! lol

@HiPPoKryPtiC haha yeah I picked up The Great Misdirect a little later and found it awesome. Colors was a great progressive metal album, and I love the experimentation on the Great Misdirect. BTBAM is definitely one of the most diverse bands out there, I love it. But since then my obsession with progressive metal developed to Opeth, now they are my new favorite.

all just more to the genius-ness of the musical fury. just another section of the album/song colors. why not create a section in a compostion that builds up to, off of, etc. of a previous song altogether? i personally cant say for sure because, well, i didnt write colors, but i can give that as a reasonable explanation. thats why this music is great. it breaks new ground and opens up the mind.
