Thank you! That was my first time ever shooting a high powered rifle like that. I ended up shooting my first deer before Christmas last year with my best friend's Browning .300 WSM! Wish it had been my gun, but we couldn't find the bullets for it!
When shooting off the bench use a sand bag under the butt of the rifle or make a fist by sqeezing your fist or sand bag you can make very small adjustments to the shot placement.
I noticed on the first shot your front rest had shifted and the shot was rushed. If you can get some sandbags or a solid rest it will probably help quite a bit. Of course shooting off the bench is mainly for load testing and not field shooting skills. have fun
Thank you for the video; but your rifle should be capable of shooting much better than that. Have someone else that is a good shooter with good eyes try your rifle out. BTW it's possible that your rifle may not like that particular load. good luck,

hey im looking at a 7mm ruger and which my families favorite type of gun and I wanted to know if a 4.5-14x50mm scope is really good for a 7mm. Also do you thimk that the recoil would be a factor for my 12 year old boy? camo 4x4 is a really good huner ive literally watched all of is videos!!!!!!I like the one where he drops that texas buck and tell Him to keep up the good work!!!!!!!!1
Hey man. I will certainly tell him to keep up the good work. He is currently in Alabama for the week! The scope that I have on my 7mm is worth buying. Now considering the recoil on the gun, it is a lot of "gun" for hunting. Now the recoil didn't seem to bother me, but that was due to I had a thick coat on and that I am a lil more thicker skinned. Camo4x4 shot my gun and he thought the recoil was worse on my gun vs. his
.300WSM w/bull barrel. Have a great one and God Bless
How is that scope working out. I was torn between a Leupold and a Burris. I got the Burris Euro Diamond II 12x52mm. It's a pretty good scope, but I will always have my heart set on Leupold. Hopefully, I'll be able to afford Swarovsky (however you spell it) soon.
Yeah, that word is hard to spell, and even pronounce! Yeah I love my Leupold! I didn't even get a chance to go hunting because I was so busy, lol! Thanks for the info on the Burris, I might try one sometime when I get the money!

how bad does a 7mm-08 compare in recoil to a 30-06

7mm-08 is basically a 308 and a 30-06 has a little kick.If your gun has a decent pad on it will not kick that hard
