@Razzlyn1 It is about making people who are running up my god damn taxes and insurance rates by going to the hospital time every freaking time they get the pneumonia or break an arm pay a god damn fine for being so irresponsible and screwing over the rest of society who hasn't done a god damn thing. This is common freaking sense, we already have a government run healthcare system, it is called don't get insurance and go to the hospital where they are legally required to take care of you (contd)
@Razzlyn1 (contd) on the public's dollar. And every economist on the planet will tell you that our form of government care, this Charity care (E.R. as primary care) is way more expensive than just providing basic preventative care. And you can't make insurance companies cover everyone regardless of pre-existing conditions unless you make or at least encourage (in this case) people to buy insurance otherwise nobody will untill they're sick
@Razzlyn1 You are rediculous, first of all nobody is currently making anyone buy insurance. If you don't buy insurance you pay a 500 dollar fine. Oh no! What do you suggest we do to fix this broken system where states like texas with 25% uninsured rate run up 34 billion dollars of the public's money in one year? We already have a government run healthcare system don't you get it? It is called Charity care and it suck ass! (contd)
@Razzlyn1 (contd) Every mainstream economist agrees that it is the most costly way to deal with the issue. Providing basic preventative care for everyone is actually cheaper in the long run that continuing this rediculous system where the only one who wins is the insurance companies.
The FAILURE of ObamaCare can be seen simply by looking at the number of waivers granted for it -- currently 733 as of February 1, 2011. The TYRANNY of ObamaCare can be recognized by the simple fact that Obama determines who gets them!
The more I read about this abomination of health care reform, the angrier I become at everyone in Congress. No one is calling out the gimmicks these people always use to get their agenda passed.
"we are talking about regulating individual behavior, not economic activities"
1:53 that about says it all!

@durhamdf
the only point in dispute here is the principal;
a principal of freedom versus force
I'm concerned about your words "make or at least encourage (in this case) people to buy insurance"
Make?!? Make?!! what country do you think your living in?
Obama care is currently considered unconstitutional.
If you want to give up your freedom for security, you deserve neither.
