...sin olvidar que "Loreley" se convirtió durante el régimen nazi en una clave musical de resistencia contra el régimen de Hitler, como sucedió en Austria con "Edelweiss". Ambas canciones, por supuesto, prohibidas por los nazis.
you perform the song in the very specific way: it is magnetic by itself but you add something more to it by your interpretation and your voice, thank you, Dorothea!
Im German, so I can say that she sings the original german lyrics by Heinrich Heine but with an obvious accent. It seems like she got told how to pronounce which words, without understanding it.... but its ok ;)
Yes voice is great, and you can believe me, it is german (I'm from Germany). But as Haffax already said with an obvious accent. I don't really understand (and I can sing this song memorized) the text because of her accent.
It was in Fate/Stay Night. They play it only when there is a sentimental moment with Ilya and Shiro, and in Ilya's death in Unlimited Blade Works when it goes on about her and Berserker when they were still in Germany.
Yeah, Ilya is German, so she actually sings it during one of the arcs as you walk her home. Well, it's not voiced, but the BGM is Die Lorelei, and the lyrics are there.
Why DIE Lorelei my name is Lorelei I really dint understand that

The way you sing and move makes this a very good song. We had learned this many years ago, as a sailors song. So, keep moving, girl.....
