  • @nxvznx furthermore that particular research is being conducted at several universities around the world. True the research has not been published (yet). One reason is because it is not complete yet. The findings are still interesting. If found valid it will change the views of the society I believe. We do mimic the human brain and body in our society....these inventions are called computers/robotics/prosthetics/artificial intelligence....

  • @nxvznx I believe you were trying to say "Once you die, it's over." I'm asking you to read research. It is ironic how you mention scholarly journals but you won't read research. It's ironic how you say "we're talking one on one" yet you make the assumption that "99.99% of scientists" believe "...the idea of the soul is unscientific." (Basically if we're talkin' one on one, why did u bother mentioning what the 99.99% of the science community alledgedly believes.)

  • At the end of the day no matter the results of science to whether or not God exists, people will either believe in God, or not believe in God. You can not believe fire burns, but if u stick your hand in a flame you will find you are sadly mistaken. People will choose to live their lives the way they see fit; just as people decide whether or not to follow the laws of their society. It's free will, something that those who believe in God and those who don't find a common ground on.

  • @nxvznx just so you know Professor Emeritus is one of, if not the most, distinguished honor one can receive in academia. Earned only by a lifetime of honor and academic achievement. Just so you know. If you know more than the Professor Emeritus (especially at such a prestigious university) then perhaps you should conduct a study to refute his findings.

  • @nxvznx you are right, this is the 21st century, and what should be a progressive flow of ideals instead of close-minded arguments such as yours. Yes the brain controls our body, i do not disbelieve this. I do believe that another force controls our brain. I'm not the only one tho, read the research of Dr. Lishman, Professor Emeritus of Neuropsychiatry of the Institute of Psychiatry at the University of London. He conducted a study of people who suffered coronary heart failure. Read the results.

  • half the people who scoff at the idea of God's existence don't see chemistry and physics for what it is. We were created because we exist. We have consciousness, logic, and rational thought. And at the end of our physical lives our bodies die, and consciousness lives on. Brains don't work by themselves. When we breathe it is like a car engine being started. A flame is ignited within us. As we continue to draw breath the flame stays lit. Why do u think people become pale when they pass away...

  • @mymojorisin @DutchNordic you two are complete idiots, you know that? not that you deny God, but that you immediately and automatically deny something that takes a different approach (one that people like you often take to further yourselves) all because of your own biased opinions.

P.S - Magic (if it exists) is only Science that we don't understand. what we have now would be Magic not even 2 centuries ago.

  • LOL a scientific view of God. I cant wait until there will be a peer reviewed science papers and the god theory will be part of mainstream science.

I have no doubt that this will happen because its a theory now instead of a hypothesis or just a crazy idea!

  • LOL The god theory. A theory is supported by facts not magic.

  • The God Theory is nothing more then a theory there is preposterous claims that are found with in the bible. A theory is how we humans explain our world so that it makes since to us an invisible deity that judge’s right from wrong and what are good and bad actions taken by your self that is used in the final judgment of your soul doesn’t have any physical evidence and the experiments to prove it is real aren’t repeatable.

  • @ttopperr judging by your comment, you obviously didn't even read the book. He is not talking about the god of the bible or any other religion. He is using god as a metaphor, to describe a one consciousness concept. Much like the god of Einstein. I am neither religious or atheist, because I think that both parties are equally closed minded and dogmatic about their believes.

  • @019807022 I have not read the book I was commenting on it from the title and there is no such thing as the biblical god. You are your own god of your own reality just like I am my own god of my reality. The lay person thinks that and what I said is true and still is relevant every thing that we base our live off of is only a belief or a Theory.

  • @ttopperr Sounds like you pretty much have the same view as me. In that case you should check out the book its right up your alley.

  • @019807022 Its written by an Astroohysicist also that is what I am going to college for so I will pick it up.

  • @019807022 I just bought it from Amazon thanks.

  • @ttopperr cool i know you will like it. I'd been thinking about going to school for the same thing.
