hmmm.... i think there is a mistake there, hammer hits not bullet it self but the wall that is between them. the wall has a needle from another side and thats what hits the cartridge .

Your friends are right...All the hammer does is set off the primer...The primer ignites the gun powder, and the tiny explosion it makes has to expand out, but it can't, so the fire has to have somewere to go, so it forces the bullet out to get out...

yo sabia que el mecanismo era sencillo,sobre todo por la epoca en que el revolver fue inventando(1814)y luego samuel colt en 1835,pero no sabia que funcionara de esta manera.muchas gracias por el video,ahora se como construir uno.

yo pense que un revolver tenia un mecanismo mucho mas complejo igual qu una ametralladora(la ametralladora de cargador redonde como la chicago typer whriter 3 disparos cada vez q aprietas el gatillo tiene un mecanismo similar pero en vez de rodar el tambor 1 vez lo hace 3 y cada vez q lo hace se dispara cada bala

que bueno esta tu video yo crei que las armas eran muy complejas pero ahora veo que esta es muy facil de hacer son solo un monton de resortes y mecanismos sencillos en fin buen video :D
