@ladyj03318 - What info? Interests of any fraternity/sorority know (or should know) founders/mission ahead of time. That was the only true history mentioned in this clip. Also, this was NOT a PROBATE if they are already members. Probate refers to a probationary period from the pledging days of old.

Overall, it was a nice show. I'm not hating just clarifying and I would say the same if it was my frat as well. I love all my AKA Sorors. Great job ladies.

So it seems that most everything I watch of the AKA's involves some sort of greeting or mocking of the frats.. what is that about ? I'm curious to know....

@librababe93 they aren't mocking. it's like a shout out or greeting (as you said). i believe that it's done at most all probates, not just the AKA's. when frats probate, they do the same for the sororities. it's out of respect for the opposite sexed greeks whereas it's more of a mock or diss (unfortunately) when the same sexed greeks are "greeted" or mentioned

@mornay2008 It wont tear you apart if you dont let it. And most AKA's are not stuck up, that is a stereotype based on a image they play off of when stepping, strolling, and chanting. They hold themselves with a high amount of calss and sophistication as do Deltas. If you dont the letters change you you will both remain real sisters. SOme AKA and Delta chapters collaborate on service projects.

@jr3371 obviously you do not know your information. Delta Sigma Theta's founders were members of Alpha Kappa Alpha first, then wanted to change the sorority and weren't aloud to do so. So, Delta Sigma Theta was second in founding a black greek letter sorority after Alpha Kappa Alpha. DST-founded 1913, AKA-founded 1908

These ladies are some singing ladies....that actually sounded great, honestly all of you where all together through the entire proformence. I'm not greek but I do respect established people who represent themselves in a positive manner. I'm in college entering my Soph. year and to know that it doesnt matter what you pledge you should do with style and grace, i.e. being proud of what you are wanting to become. Kudos Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha this was beautiful.

I was at this show it was very good but I went this past tuesday to the 2010 Northern Illinous University Probate. I thought it was the Northern Illinois Women's Basketball team. It was a sad day for Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc. The line before was great but who selected these girls? I thought I was at a comedy show or the circus. I feel sorry for them girls when they go anywhere if you cant even get RESPECT on your own yard. I hope they post a video on here so the world can see.

SisterGreek, you should get out more. I've seen more than a few sorority probates where the other D9 sororities are completely dissed. I even saw one where the neos were dissing the frats. So uncouth. Check on YouTube, and you'll see how things vary from campus to campus.
