I JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SHE IS NOT AS BIG AS SOME SINGERS, IN FACT SHE HAS BEAUTIFUL VOCALS AND SHE SHOULD BE SO MUCH BIGGER THAN SHE IS...SHE NEEDS A GOOD PRODUCER TO REALLY PROMOTE HER...IF SHE DOESN'T HAVE ONE NOW.

Shanice's vocals are the truth! She "blew" that song, but made it seem effortless. Song needs some light percussion. Her voice is so strong... song can take it. With vocals like that... either no music or something to match. Piano is boring AS HELL -- behind Shanice. Beautiful music... needs some pop to pull me all in. Vocals were impeccable.

I really like this. Her belting was good here, but her best register is her head voice without a doubt. Anyway, this is a beautiful song and kudos to her for writing it. I guess the song is about her not feeling that she could love the boy in the story right so she decided to break it off. If her new album is full of songs like this (musically), I might actually consider buying it.

@chrissss2005 I hear what you are saying, but there are some of us who still value great ballads and not these Hip hop songs that disappear as quickly as they appear. I for one not into hip hop. If Shanice is to go into any direction, I would say Rock. Because her voice is powerful enough to ease through that type of music. @mibende LOL It's funny you said that, because I am a person who enjoys most of todays music, and also loves stuff like this and the great ballads you spoke of, However I do notice that I get tired fast of songs that are out today they don't hold up like our old school songs if you will and I often find myself popping out old cd's from the 90's.
