  • I praise you for recording this

  • I EXPECT MORE <SOMETIMES YOU CAN HAVE THE BEST PLAYERS ,BUT THE WORST TEAM...

  • they opened for the arctic monkeys? shouldn't have been the opposite way?

  • Universal Translator - Nineteen Eighty Four

    Check it out

  • shame the camera couldnt handle the audio

  • People who are seriously arguing in youtube comments are not Rock 'n Roll.

  • "Hello" 6 seconds later heads exploding.

  • Oh my goodness..my brothers name is Dave so needless to say i use the same intensity as this guy to call my brother. Hilarious man..DAVE!!

  • @MusicalCoDGuy A muso that plays in concert is to me part of the band. They need a fill in guitarist and he does such a good job

  • Check out my channel for a drum cover of this song. I know you're probably thinking I'm a self-promoting bastard but its a decent cover.

  • Alain Johannes seems a bit left out but honestly this is the best reconfiguration of excellent proper rock musos we have had ever. They are new fresh and very moving.

  • @rstephen4u Well hes only a touring member, he's not an official part of the band.

  • My friends dad looks like John Paul Jones! FTW

  • HAHA SUPPORTING THE ARCTIC MONKEYS!? YOU HAVING A LAUGH!?

  • @12345l6789 I'm pleased to say that they did, was like a buzz on the forums trying to work out where they would play their uk gig getting tortured as the x on the map moved around europe, the fact they played under the name le petit pois in france and only a code in the states, i honestly never thought i'd find out in time to make it but if josh hadn't produced the arctics album and EODM said they'd support the arctics tour yet scheduled to play in ireland that night i never would of gone. EPIC!

  • This looks fucking awesome live.

  • Too bad the sound quality is crap. =/

    Totally ruining a great song.

  • I was at this gig and the moment when they came out on stage will stay with me forever - when Dave walked out, there was a 'stillness' that seemed to go over the whole audience and last forever, before the whole building just erupted in cheers.

  • DAVE!!

  • I saw them live in Plymouth and Dave did an awesome solo before rocking into this. It was sweet!!

  • a bass player has never recieved this atention before

  • lol "daaaave!!"

  • boring.............sounds like b-sides of Led Zep 2010

  • @BeauTokyo worry old men....

  • @BeauTokyo wow.......

  • @craigfatman: Kinda makes me feel sorry for Alain Johannes

Shoot, it seems like Alain Johannes got a pretty good deal, he gets to do the fun part (play) and doesn't have to do any of the bullshit (promo).

Thank you for uploading this, it's an awesome video, I feel like I was there.

  • Best supergroup ever.

  • JPJ for life! Most influential bassist of all time IMO. Dave and Josh are legends but I bet they are so fucking stoked on the inside to play with John.

  • bootlegs sure are the cream of the trash quality.

  • Best Performed "Elephants" by them. This video quality isn't great, but you can feel the energy and just feel the passion in this performance. = ) Fucken Awwweessommme! Legends!

  • saw them the other night . one of the best shows ever. just so you know that johannes guy was freaking awesome and carried half the set.

  • All the bands these guys come from are amazing! Too bad the music they make is so weird no one cares.

  • YEAH YEAH YEAH!!! 3 Gods!!!

  • i bet john paul jones came up with the intro riff ...its very led zep. reminds me of wearing and tearing off the coda album.

  • ...whoa!!!

  • 3 Absolute legends... Kinda makes me feel sorry for Alain Johannes - he's never going to get any Camera time!

  • @craigfatman Alain Johannes rulz!!!

  • @jsperror Amen to that!!

  • @craigfatman Hes what John was to led zeppelin...lmao

  • @craigfatman right? XD i mean seriously why not just let alain join as rhythm guitar on the records?

  • @craigfatman u forgot one!

  • @craigfatman even that he is more talented than the rest of the guys IMO.

  • fucking awesome song! TCV rocks!

  • good one, pedro.

  • I am shaking at the thought of the glory i would have felt had i been an attendee of this show... Pure bloody hot venom!

  • Why the heck aren't these guys more popular yet?? They're LEGENDARY!!!

If you want to have some laughs, see my music video for DESTROY NICKELBACK WITH LASERBEAMS!!

  • live @ Werchter 1/2/3/4 July 2010!!!!!

  • Sweeeet.

  • Dave rocks !!

  • 7:39 mins of fuck yeah!!

  • i HAVE to see them live...come to ireland soon

  • COACHELLA!!!!!!!!!

  • Josh is channeling elvis or jager

  • um jager's not dead yet! It must be elvis!!!

  • no sorry

  • These go to 11...

  • IMA SEE EM AT COACHELLA!!!!

  • Dave us really exploding on them drums.

  • greatest band ever?

  • Buffffff, hahaha

  • WTF?

  • @jmaer91 idk when i saw foo fighters in norfolk,va they blew the chili peppers away

  • 很 好

  • I want to see them again... REALLY BADLY.

  • wow. i can't believe this was the support act for arctic monkeys.... possibly the first (and only) gig in the history of gigs to have a better supporting act rather than lead act ? (i refer to private shows btw....not festivals)

  • i read once that Hendrix was briefly the opening act for the Monkees. Talk about a group of traumatized 13 yr old girls!

  • @Tecumseh1812 Yes that,s true,I saw one of those concerts when I was 11yrs old in 1967-Hendrix playing live & being met with dead silence and the Monkees who were miming sending the girls into a frenzy...weird days.

  • Better name suggestion....: "Dave and The Dinosaurs"

  • better comment suggestion: TCV ROCKS!

  • Why hello there,

If you like Rockn' Roll thats based on catchy guitar riffs, than you are in luck. I have composed a piece of music that consists of all the classic rock riffs that you know and love titled SYMPHONY OF THE GUITAR RIFF. Yeah, it has all your favorite moments in Rock history played back to back in one giant Riff Extravaganza. Come over to my channel and see what i mean.

    Thanks!

  • Great album. Very psychodelic with modern effects. Major zepplin influence obviously. All players are at the top of their game. JPJ has just gotten better with age. The whole album does a great job of layering the different beats and rythms from the bass, drums, and guitar to create a surreal overrall sound and rythm.

  • I was really into the first 3 qotsa albums especially the one with no one knows and go with the flow on it, Dave was always insane on the drums when they callabo'd, but was disappointed with the two follow up albums, never really got into the EODM, this is a great return to form for josh, and to add JPJ just makes it all the better, cant wait for more from these guys

  • haha.. paul jones looks like a crooked vulture.

  • you sound like a stupid bastard

  • queer

  • @

builditwithlegos, goddamn he is. i saw a live show and he changed the instruments on almost every song, when he played organ and bass synthesizer in the same time i said to myself ":O"

  • i just had an epiphany.

    dave NEVER STOPS CHEWING GUM.

    EVER!

  • @TheBensont123, neither did hendrix...

    Coincidence?...

  • supposedly thats the best way to curve the heroin fits............haha.

  • nice sound quality for a phone

  • Did they really SUPPORT Arctic Monkeys? I really like Arctice Monkeys but what a come down that would be after listening to these guys!! Amazing, proper amazing!!!!

  • beast of a band

  • i knew i recognized that voice, from Queens OTSA

  • i thought there was some kind of law against any supergroup without jack white in it

not that i don't like this as it is ...holy shit, john paul jones!

  • WOW!!This is fucking music ladies and gentlemen.John Paul Jones looks good for his age and still kicks ass.

  • nice i saw them 2 days ago in NYC it was great

  • daves drum groove in the verse is captivating....keeps me awake at night

  • Hey, thabasszist, you're a moron. You expect more from JPJ?!?!? Really!? No offense, but what has he done since Zep? Don't get me wrong, I think being in Zep is great, but he's not even the best bassist in his own generation. The Ox and Geddy Lee run circles around him! But, you must be God if you have higher expectations of him....I hope he's listening.

  • Obiously you are not a bassist....or just a little boy who has never "listened" to his playing

    Geddy.....really.....thats ur come back lol

  • Comment removed

  • My comeack was The Ox and Geddy Lee. I love The Who and Rush. I love Zep, too, but just don't put JPJ in top top bassist category. I am not a 'kid', but you obviously are a 'dik'. I blayed many insturmenhts and sang in bands for a good 10 years. Played in Seattle in the early 90s when Seattle was the center of the musical universe. Go brush your teeth, boy!

  • Comment removed

  • All I was prociding was an opinion. Actually, 'art' is a competition if you choose to play the game. I tried for 10 years to get a record deal. Never happened. Competition in Seattle was stiff back then. I've seen amazing musicians get lft behind because of the competition to make it. Don't be so naive, man. Now, if you are talkikng about your opinion on music, that is not a competition. You know how people are with 'their music'. Everyone's opinion is stronger than steel...isn't yours?

  • John Paul Jones has released several albums since Zep, all of which are awesome, and better than anything Page or Plant have done since. He may not be the most technical bassist ever, but he grooves like mad. He was a huge factor in Zep's sound as a whole. Not only is he good at bass but he is good on many other instruments as well.

  • Thanks for the info, man. I'll have to look to look up his stuff.

  • jonesy solo albums are sonic fucking brilliance . Some of the craziest beats and sounds you will ever hear .Not commercially palatable , but to a lover of sound and rythym , excellent

  • ya, keep on listening to aguielera please and stfu

  • This is legendary. Kids of this day and age! Take hold of and cherish your gift from these true talents! This is your mark in time!

  • One of the most hardcore awesome bands today

  • @tsl198 fuck you shitbag you wodnt no good music if it slapped u in the face

  • Pathetic what passes for "music" these days. This is really pathetic. Maybe they should work really hard and learn a second chord. Maybe get a lesson from Steven Seagal.

  • @tsl198

This band is far better than most of the true bullshit out there these days. I mean just look at all the grammy winners and nominees from this year.

And Steven Seagal? What the fuck you on about there?

  • @tsl198 cry more

  • if you dont like it just go back and listen to the jonas brothers

  • I'm glad to see John Paul Jones doing something creative. He has been completely underused for decades. Robert Plant and Jimmy Page thou great never invited him to any of their projects.Which is a little weird. Over all I'm happy this awesome musician is not siting around in obscurity any longer.

  • lol Thats the drummer of Nirvana!!!

And the bass player of Led Zeppelin!!

    Kick ass all star band!!

  • Fucking epic!!

Hey guys, Check out my Gunman cover ;)

    watch?v=HYklfcUfpAs

  • @MrCuntfuck

this definetly shows that you dont have any clue about music ;)

  • lol, Yeah what a cockstroker.

Josh is just as big a legend as Dave. But if you dont like, Then Su and go play in traffic

  • yes I do queens of the stone age aint got nothing on Led Zep and the foos most people would agree

  • if he is so bad.. why then is he the frontman of this band??

  • @MrCuntfuck

I totally agree, they're would be so many better singers out there. I don't get how you got so many thumbs down but yeah I agree with you on this one. And it's shit hows there's no guitarist in the band that is really worthy. I guess I got my hopes up on a Led Zeppelin cross Foo Fighters. They're still pretty good though. Nice username by the way.

  • Yeah you're a fucking idiot dude, go listen to U2 or Green Day with your parents.

  • Comment removed

  • i dont listen to that shit, but i did fuck your parents with a broomstick. Thanks man

  • thats the singer of QOTSA!!!

  • No shit sherlock!!

  • goose! thats hilarious

  • I don't like Homme, but this time I can forgive him everything. This is amazing.

  • joshluxy....don't get your hopes up. Have seen them twice and they only played Them Crooked Vultures tunes. Which is fair enough.

  • Hello, going to the gig in Auckland NZ on the weekend. Can i expect to hear any Queens, Zep or Foos covers? Pretty please?
