  • coleen rowley is cute

  • Keep up this amusing fight billionaires - free the drones!

how can americans want to continue giving money to rich medical companies? Not only that but some people actually demonstrating against healthcare and calling Obama a socialist!! Can someone please explain what's going on here?

  • @pebbleface2

    this vid is satirical.

  • @ZeranEmpire I know, and it's great satire/theatre/action. A breath of fresh air. hence my comment.

  • I laughed at the kid making the unamerican comment.

Because wouldn't a patriot want his fellow Americans to be healthy?

  • It's sad that some americans think that healthcare is a bad thing and un-christian. Thanks god there are so many free thinking americans ready to break the bonds of capitalist ideals and compaign for justice!

  • You people are so stupid.

Keep your status quo to yourselves, don't get me involved.

I am against anybody who tries to rip people off, well you billionairres can kiss my fucking ass!

Keep your status quo to yourselves.

I'll keep to myself and be more powerful than the lot of you!

    I will not bend!

  • OMG why are you Americans so FUCKING STUPID? How can you possibly be against Universal Healthcare? It's not even socialist considering its state capitalism, and its OPTIONAL, hence its called 'the Government OPTION' you fucking retards!

  • i make 9.54 an hour. I am not a billionaire. I am against obamacare

  • @AKUSER1968 Then you are stupid, and freely admit your ignorance. Sad.

  • LOL! Good job!

  • @coliseumdog Public libraries were invented by Benjamin Franklin. Therefore, our nation was founded on communist ideals.

  • I love these guys. THIS is how satire is done! xD

Btw, I think that they got Geddy Lee (from Rush) to sing the male vocal part. Listen to that "LET'S SAVE THE STATUS QUUUUOOOOO!" at the end. o____o

  • Sad how some people don't realize (or don't care) that children have their own minds. They take advantage of their malleability to brainwash them into their way of life, never letting them learn all the facts and make the choice for themselves. By the time they are adults they are too close minded to even look at opinions other than the ones of their parents. I think generally both sides do this, but the rightists tend to take it further. Just my opinion really. Loved the video though. XD

  • both sides are Corporatists...Obamacare will just make the rich richer...

  • love it

  • Obamacare does not have anything to do with social health care. All it does is force those who do not have a PRIVATE HEALTHCARE INSURANCE POLICY to purchase one or face a GOV'T FINE for not having one. Calling Obamacare care a form of socialism is not being naive. The health care bill is just an extension of corporate control.

  • @camlpg: I call bullshit. I'm no for Obamabot, but REAL universal healthcare is NOT what the corporations want.

  • Billionaires are for government run health care because they stand to make a fortune transforming health care to a government run system. Get your facts straight sheeple. Look at all the bribes that demonrats had to make to pass the bill. The bribes will bankrupt us and we haven't even started yet. Just to change the system over is going to cost billions. The demonrats are loving it because they are going to fill their pockets and decide who goes to what doctor. Why are you demonrats dictators?

  • @MotionFrequency: "Billionaires are for government run health care because they stand to make a fortune transforming health care to a government run system. Get your facts straight sheeple."

You sir, are a total idiot. Maybe you'd stop gorging yourself with FOX News propaganda you'd know better.

  • See the looks on those DUPES' faces when the message ...DOES NOT COMPUTE DOES NOT COMPUTE!! priceless!

    NIce job by the Billionaires!

  • hahaha you unamericans

  • I love this song

  • TEA PARTY DOUCHEBAGS!

  • Wish I could have been there -- great -- need to do this throughout the country -- Billionaires for wealthcare!! How true!!

  • Its not the insurance companies stupid. Its the doctors. But no one wants to admit it. Health insurance profit are around 3%. They simply reimburse wealthy health care providers. Why do you think Michelle Obama landed a $300,000 healthcare board job after her husband became senator?

  • the little brat kids need to shut the fuck up

and go play with there power rangers

  • When I encountered the billionaires for the first time I had to stop and let my mind whirl around it a bit before I realized what they were really up to. What a great group. Hahaha

  • what great street theater - brilliant!

ALL our industrial peers have health ins. with one thing in common: basic ins. is provided on a NON-PROFIT basis, with low or NO co-pays, @ low monthly cost! (prob less than you pay now!)

PLEASE Google your Senator & Rep and email them, tell them we want what our peers have, health ins. at reasonable cost, on a NON-PROFIT basis! NO GIVEAWAYS to BIG PHARMA and INS. COMPANIES! Please write today! pleeeese!!!

  • This video is great these people are idiots and they dont even know it. The rich are laughing all the way to the bank rush, beck, ceo's thanks to these morons.

  • Sucker born every minute, with hospital gowns that don't even cover their butts

  • had to come back and look at all your vids!!

  • love the billionaires--whatta way to get it across LOL!! and thanks for your work all!

  • This video is correct the Rich will have health care. Obama said it himself, he has a doctor that follow him around. Only the rich would do that. So who will profit, the rich in washington DC.

  • The same people who are profiting NOW. That is the Billionaires' point. "Let's save the status quo." Status quo = current health insurance = rich people with health insurance and poor people without. The rich DO have health care, and if we keep it the way it is now, that will continue.

  • I don't know what you're getting at. I can tell you hate Obama, but your argument just proves the point: NO ONE SHOULD BENEFIT FROM PEOPLE'S DEATHS, including the president. Way to go idiot, you just proved how stupid the opposition is.

  • BRILLIANT!

  • brilliant guys! made my day!

  • Same amount O'Reilly paid Andrea Mackris

  • what does seeing a naked woman and making gay references have to do with anything?

see if you actually had a logical point..you wouldn't need to use irrelevance to make your argument..these people, who were very smart by the way, came out to show all of these protesters what exactly they were protesting against.

They were protesting for no health care reform.

and who does having no health care reform support? billionare insurance company CEO's...so what did they say that was incorrect?

  • Well, when your options are between a handfull of shitty insurance companies that exist for the sole purpose of making money, choice doesn't really matter, because you'll get screwed no matter what you do. Personally, I'd love to see us get a single payer system. The fact that 45000 people die a year due to being unable to see a doctor is just abhorrent.

  • Medicare takes care of people just fine. It's a "Single Payer Plan." Just extend Medicare to everyone. It's the easiest way and makes the most sense. Nobody dies waiting for care with Medicare. You see your doctor and get the care you need.

  • ever been to austria?

  • i AM from austria. :)

  • jo nit schlecht. :)

    wo bist den hea?

  • oberoesterreich ;)

    du..kaernten, i suppose?

  • na. salzburg :)

  • @independentview1

If that was the case (which it's not, there's a huge donor shortage), the people in the country with public healthcare have a much better chance of survival. They have the chance of free treatment and cheaper private healthcare.

If they can't afford private healthcare and rely solely on public healthcare, then imagine how bad their situation would be in a country without it.

  • Exactly how does someone have a better chance of survival under a plan where a politician can tell them they are not legally allowed to get treatment?

Britian, Canada and other countries with Politician controlled Health Care if you are diagnosed with a disease you go on a waiting list until there is an appointment open or funding becomes available, usually the next fiscal year.

  • bullshit you fucking ass wipe

  • @independentview1 I'm guessing you've never been to Britain or Canada. Also, I'm guessing you've never done any actual research on what the British and Canadian systems are like (they are different in a lot of ways).

No one with a life threatening condition ever has to wait. The only time you have to wait is for certain tests for non-life threatening conditions.

  • @PoliticsStudent London, the Daily Mail, when, ohhh, TODAY. An article on an investigation into Hospital waiting lists. "more than 2 per cent of patients waiting more than 12 months for treatment." . From the Royal College of Surgeons, a link to check how long waiting lists at different hospitals. Socialist medicine sucks and is meant as a way for the Government to kill the poor.

  • @independentview1 So the other 98% of the citizens are satisfied?

I live in Canada. I have gone through the system for various reasons (both for myself, for friends, and for family) and I have never experienced problems.

  • @PoliticsStudent The article didn't say anything about "satisfied" it said people are waiting a year or more for an operation. The longer they are on the list the better chance they will die and the Government can save some money. I see. So because you like getting health care when the Government says you can, also if you can, everyone should be happy with that. You may not be capable of making decisions for yourself but others are capable of thinking.

  • @independentview1 Not for an operation, for treatment. And no one is ever put at risk of dying. People have to wait for things like MRIs, not for surgery. Have you ever experienced either the British or Canadian system?

Rationing is a much more ethical approach than "those with money get service". Can you imagine if the fire department was privatized? "Your house is on fire? Sorry, you don't have money, and the rich person down the road wants their cat rescued from a tree. Too bad for you."

  • @PoliticsStudent The majority of Fire Departments in America are volunteer and are under no obligation to do anything. That's funny. Rationing is ethical. 'So sorry, you are to old and not worth the money for you operation. Maybe if you make a donation to the right politician we can get you the operation." Great ethics.

  • @independentview1 That comment is proof that you really don't understand the system that you're criticizing. Stop embarrassing yourself.

  • @PoliticsStudent: I agree............when are the people going to wake up and realize that universal healthcare is best? C'mon, Obama needs to stop letting himself be manipulated by these people.

  • @independentview1 Let's see: waiting for the operation, or waiting for the mortgage so you can then wait for the operation? I know which one I'd prefer.

  • There is a big difference betwwen the few who can't afford Health Care, who already have Governmant programs they can go on, and the many who are to lazy and filled with entitlement disease to get there own. How can you have a better chance in a system where the government can simply tell you that you can't have the operation, your just not worth the money. The US Government already turns down more requests for operations to be covered than any insurance company int he country.

  • What the hell does that have to do with anything about the video u fool? It is people like you that rightwing nuts have to blame for the election and everything wrong with the party.

  • From what I saw of some of the women in your crows, I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANY OF THEM NAKED AND YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER.

  • They don't even get why we laugh at the fact they actually called themselves tea baggers. LOL Damn that must be strong Kool aid their passing out.

  • That's Cracker Juice gosh darn it!

  • THIS IS AWESOME! The best protesting out there.....I crack up when the right wingers don't even get the sarcasm/satire....who brainwashed that little kid telling them they are un-americans?

  • ye you know something is wrong with anything at the very latest when 10 year old kids are protesting and/ or giving speeches!

  • whooooooooooo

  • finally something tea baggers and billionaires have in common: save the status quo

  • This video gets better each and every time I play it.

    Rock on, Billionaires!

    ~

  • After all the heavy stuff/snoozola hearings This is a classic farce. Smile when thinking about the chutzpa it takes to walk into that mob and make fun of them. Go .Think might try this myself. Single strand of pearls and basic black **Fave: Cigna?Palin/2012. This is the real deal Hope it's a nationwide tour. Debate and more street gigs before it snows. The most tripped out part , most of the regulars look so bewildered, some guy with "Thumbs Up"What a great break from all the guano out there

  • Your point says more about the violent nature of your side than it does about peace loving liberals, who never came close to hurting anyone during our peace marches.

  • Fourth time I've watched this and it still makes me laugh. Rock on Billionaires!!!! :)

  • For those who agree with what Palin is saying: Fuck you, get out of our faces, and learn some common courtesy at town hall meetings.

  • lol @ the freeplings

  • The actors are so perfect that the GOP

mob fools do not realize that they have been spoofed.

What fools these GOP mobs be!

  • you know if people support Palin their IQ is below hers.

  • Of all the current assaults on our noble republic, perhaps none is more dangerous than the public option - specifically, the public library option.

For far too long, this menace has undermined the very foundations of our economy. While companies like Amazon and Barnes & Noble struggle valiantly each day to sell books, these communistic cabals known as libraries undercut the hard work of good corporate citizens by letting people read their books for free.

  • Lifted from M.C. Blakeman.

  • It is even goes much further than my friend. They offer free internet access and terminals for those who cannot afford a computer. This is a direct affront to Kinko's and other similar companies. We must this free flow of information and knowledge today. Nothing should be free in this great land of ours.

  • Hmmm. Time for a lynch mob attack on the library?

  • Public libraries are a direct attack on our American way of life. They offer knowledge, information, and culture w/ our hard earned tax dollars. We need to continue to be a nation of dumb shits so we do not disrupt the free will of our leaders to tell us how we should think. Are you with me??

  • lol brilliant use of sarcasm :) i approve.

  • @coliseumdog OMG. YOU'RE RIGHT!!! BURN THOSE COMMIE PUBLIC LIBRARIES TO THE GROUND!!!

  • @coliseumdog: LMAO. Good one. :-)

  • @coliseumdog goddamn, I love u

  • Your video and song: Luv it, luv it, luv it!!!!

    ~Jade

  • I feel really bad for the kid at 1:21. If you listen really hard, you can hear his redneck dad saying, "I home schooled him myself" just before the kid shouts out. Wow....another victim of right-wing home schooling. It's really sad how they turn their children into racist, Randian robots. It's really a form of child abuse.

  • Wow. I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. I heard it and it is kinda sad. His dad's all like "...home schooled him..." as the kid shouts.

On another note, this is pretty damn good!

  • Poe's Law is in full effect here. These "tea-baggers" are so brain-dead they don't even realize whose party line they're spouting.

  • I would just prefer to see a radical right winger say something not hate-filled and factually erroneous.

  • Awesome. It still may have gone over the heads off the FOXnauts but the rest of the primates should get it.

  • Satire and irony are wasted on the conservatives...they just don't get it..

  • Haha nice work guys. Love the camera pan from you guys to the crowd. Their expression is PRICELESS LOL!!!!

  • lol @ 1:21 stupid kid's balls havent even dropped yet

  • Comment removed

  • This is a waste of time... These people will never understand satire.... Clearly.

  • I just LOVE these guys! lol

  • You couldn't afford someone to sing in tune at the beginning?

  • Jbranstetter04 Is a classic example of a rightwingnut...denying Americans afordable health is in his wingnut world will ensure his And America's "freedom" ROTFLMAO!!!!

  • Why would you cure AIDS if profit it your key form of motivation? Surely the better option would be develloping expensive and recurring treatments rather than a cure.

Big Pharma cares more about anti-depressants and erectile dysfunction medication because you need to keep taking it, antibiotics and vaccines get less money because you take them once and you're done, not very profitable. As a result those are spearheaded by publically funded institutions.

  • How do you figure? You can't argue with

the idiots, yelling their lungs out at town

halls. So, you might as well make fun

    of them.

  • Nin1963,

I've suggested to BruceMajors that he sober up before posting but evidently he doesn't know how to read either. Note all of his posts that have negative numbers beside them and they have disappeared. Doesn't look promising, does it? I know for a fact that there are many decent Republicans out there and they are being used by the lunatic fringe to look bad. The news today says that the Obama Health Care Plan is on its way to passage! YESSS!!!

  • I pledge allegiance to the flag

Of the Corporate States of America

And to the profits for which it stands

As HIGH as the MARKET will BEAR them.

    One Nation Under RULE

Of the Rich Elites of Wall Street,

Using Silver TP on their GOLDEN THRONES,

And disposing of it on Main Street!

  • Wonderful little piece which exposes the profit sucking health companies for what they really are - leeches on the skin of America. Hey tea baggers wake up and open your minds instead of our wallets.

  • what's pathetic and sad is that most of the people marching are NOT RICH they have bought into a media blitz of hate speech, fear and propaganda and are actually convinced the system is okay.

i guess america is really as dumb as the rest of the world thinks it is..if this mentality prevails.

every country in the industrialized world as well as several third world countries have better care systems than we do--yet ours is the most expensive.

find some logic skills brainless masses!

  • I couldn't help but notice the kid who shouts "Get out of here you unamericans!" is facing a Fox News trailer when he does. Maybe he has a point after all!

  • A quick look at AIG*'s most recent available financial statements show that 83,505 MILLLION was made from premiums alone in 2007. This is a significant and steady increase of income over four years in their statements. Losses by AIG were the result of securities investments, not of declining health care insurance revenues.

    Again, not profitable?

*AIG is a major provider of health care insurance in the United States of America and provides insurance and credit in international markets.

  • The $83 billion is their revenue from all insurance premiums, NOT their underwriting profit.. This is not reported on their 10K. Also, they are in MANY lines, much of which is NOT health insurance. If you want their health underwriting profit you need to analyze each state registration statement filed with the state insurance commissioner. The large health inurance providers are Cigna, Wellpoint and United Health.

  • If God loved poor people he wouldn't make them sick.

  • Comment removed

  • Health care is not that profitable. Their margin is only 3.3% according to Yahoo finance. There are 85 industries more profitable. Investors Business Daily ranks health insurance number 176 out of 195 industries

  • Home health care has a profit margin of 8.9%; Health and accident insurance has a profit margin of 3.9%; Health care facilities have a profit margin at a whopping 28%! The return on equity is even better. AND your source, Yahoo finance, rated Home Health Care as one of the top performing industries.

    Not profitable?

  • The facilities profit is for an REIT not the facility itself. Misleading. Their ROE is 6.7% NOT 28%. This jist of the video was going after the insurance companies. Insurance is a straw man in this argument.

  • Brilliant!

  • If anyone asks me what irony is I'll refer them to this post.

  • This video is great! The people in the crowd seem completely confused haha. I wish I could be in something like this, but I would probably get murdered since I live in the deep South.

  • Please share the lyrics with our many supporters of health care reform. I cannot write quickly enough to catch all the words. We want to sing this song at our meetings. Thanks. Marge Mead

  • The lyrics are attached to this. Click read more on the description.

  • Most of the footage is a parody of the right-wingers who a few days ago in DC protested the health care reform proposals. Definitely the "Billionaires for Wealthcare" sign is a parody, as are the people smoking cigars. But the last shot looks like they infiltrated the right-wing protests! :-D

  • So do we laugh or cry at this? I couldn't tell the sarcasm from the real thing. Yikes, most of those signs were real?! Who's unAmerican? Help! We need healthcare in the U.S. for all.

  • I do not have ins because I can't afford to pay for it. My job cannot afford to supply it. And yet, because I love in Los Angeles, though I am essentially broke, I make too much to qualify for Medicaid. So I have been billed for a hospital stay. I got the bills. And I will be sued when the time comes and I still haven't paid them. At the moment, I can't even afford to file for bankruptcy. These costs have not been shifted. I'm sure I am not the only person in this position. What do we do?

  • No, I can't afford the insurance because I'd have to decide if it's more important to eat or pay the rent instead. I have yet to see a plan, Democratic or Republican (other than single pay, which is not on the table, and would still be problematic for me to afford) that addresses this at all.

And thanks for the attempt at an insult as, of course, I had insulted you first. Oh, wait, I hadn't because I have manners because I am a decent person. And not someone wishing anyone to die. Nice.

  • United Health Care's corporate billionaires welcome your blathering, jbranstetter04.

    You Fight For Them!

    ~

  • If we had a single payer system, which is not on the table, then instead of people paying premiums to corps who's main goal is profit we'd instead be paying taxes to cover it. Due to the reduced overhead and due to everyone being covered and everyone who can afford to pay in paying in, your payment should be the same or less than now, and you wouldn't be turned down for BS reasons or for pre-existing conditions. You're paying too much for ins and also for the uninsured now. I'd prefer that.

  • Comment removed

  • You are. Not "Your." And you say that I am dumb.

So, what exactly is your plan, and how will it cut costs and make sure that more people are covered? Or would you prefer a sicker America which falls farther and further down the international rankings as more and more people lose insurance and get denied for BS reasons to keep up profits?

I do not want to limit it, but to expand health coverage to more people who are not getting it.

And people seem to love tax funded Medicare.

  • You are an angry, angry man. Resorting to name calling to people who simply disagree with you. How deeply sad. You should probably seek anger management therapy, though that might not be covered by your health insurance.

They both seem to have ties to Libertarians, which explains a lot. I did try to click on a link to read some of their work, but my computer has issues with pdf files.

I can read. You can insult. I'm happier with my choice of being a decent living person.

  • It promotes the general welfare, as per the US Cons't.. People who can buy health care but don't and end up in the hospital anyway (it happens: accidents, cancer, etc) end up getting stuck with enormous bills they aren't prepared to pay for and have to go bankrupt. Then that free person has forced everyone else to pay for their choice. Is that fair either? Why should People who pay for health care be forced to pay for people who can, but don't and therefore selfishly force it onto everyone else.

  • I think doctors would have an issue with that sentiment. Plus you are also not dealing with the people who do not have the freedom to buy the insurance they want because of preexisting conditions or have insurance but get the legitimate claim denied because the insurance company wants to preserve their profits. Where is the freedom there?

The United States is meaningless without the citizens. There is no US if there are no people. That is a completely illogical argument.

  • You are dying of cancer. You come to my insurance company and want to but some insurance: what I'm I to do? Should I sell you a policy for the same price as the average guy? What kind of a fool would I be if I did that? Do you not understand that if I did that, that people would be incentivized to not buy insurance until they get sick. Think about it.

If insurance companies deny claims for bogus reasons, then their business will be short lived if it is the consumer who is doing the purchasing.

  • Which is exactly why we need a public option or some equivalent and either guarantee coverage or mandate coverage for everyone. People won't wait until it's too late, if they have to have coverage. My friend can't get coverage because of a pre-existing condition that will never hospitalize her. That's not right. And companies deny things all the time with the hope someone else will pay for it. Too many people I know have this for it to be a rare thing.

  • I think these things that are wrong with our system can be fixed without throwing the entire system out. Why are they proposing a public "option" to put the insurance companies out of business? They have proposed businesses to pay an 8% payroll tax if they do not provide insurance, so it will be cheaper for them to cancel their private insurance, pay the tax, and let their employees go onto the public "option". In the end this will mean that the only option will be the public "option".

  • "If insurance companies deny claims for bogus reasons, then their business will be short lived if it is the consumer who is doing the purchasing."

Yes, in a perfect world. Too bad we're not perfect, because every insurance company does this and it still hasn't effected consumer choices. Allstate is the biggest offender and still one of the biggest insurance companies...

  • Brilliant! Keep it up.

  • Let's compare Saddam Hussein with

former president Bush: when both were

in power, the crazies were kept at bay.

Once the were no longer in power, the

crazies had no one to control them.

  • Great satire! So many Americans work against their own best interests.

  • Very impressive, billionaires!

    .

I've posted your video at Time. Let them eat Advil, Joe Klein!

    ~

  • Republicants are RETARDS!

As the third largest party in the USA, I'm saying we will one day kick their greedy ignorant earth destroying warmongering butts.

Victor Forsythe - Green Party of Colorado

  • Excellent. I saw part of this on the news last night and was hoping it was on YT.

  • Thank you again, BruceMajors, for proving my points. The advice still stands. Dakotahgeo.

  • Just fantastic. Kudos to the team that came up with the idea.

  • The music and the video were super. Good lyrics also. Shows ingenuity!!! Dakotahgeo!

  • BruceMajors, my good man! You do need to sober up before you post non-comments as you do.

Medicare is one of the best socialized medicine programs in the country. Another is the VA medical program, even though it has its problems. The new Health Care with Public Option plan will be even better. What are you going to do when that passes? You have very bad manners... did you not receive enough love when you were growing up? Take two Tylenol and call someone who cares in the morning! :-)
