Thanks for the props wretch...that was from memory and believe me that is getting foggy as I get older...heh...I still play "Needle" to this day when I play out in my town...Danny was a great songwriter...and a great tribute by Nils here...but he had...the problem...

Nils always plays so beautifully on piano, heard a recording I think, from Neil's Bridge project concert, with Nils playing and singing. Someone, (do I dare think someone really who is Lofgren) wrote back promising more piano. ? His guitar skills and vocals are legendary, - well, I also live in his old backyard near Washington D.C. Wonder if he ever comes back 'round here? If he ever reads this babble, it would be lovely to see more of him.

A million thanks for posting this clip (and all the others).....Nils is quite simply the best.....first time I've heard him actually take any (small) credit for this number.......although Neil Young credited to both him and Danny in 'Shakey'....Nils is simply the most underrated musician on the planet....bar none...
