Ganz einfach: die Aufnahmen stammen aus dem Archiv von Alan Wilders privaten Videos.

Das Album wurde in den Hansa Studios Berlin abgemischt. Die Band hatte sich also in Berlin aufgehalten. Martin Gore hatte damals auch eine deutsche Freundin und wohnte einige Zeit in Berlin.

Well, I'm a DM fan for ~25 years now, own almost everything they ever released and have to confess that I still discover some gems from time to time... "Lie to me" e.g. was a track that became one of my absolute favs not before the 90ies! :-)

Another track I'd recommend: "In your memory", b-side of the "People are people" single. If you once manage to get a grip on the somewhat queer melody and experimental, strange sound arrangement, you'll find it's a fantastic song! Just takes some time.

Stunning intro and positively melting key changes and harmonies. This track has always given me chills, I feel cold listening to it now. Hey Hoehne... Thanks for some parts of this video and this great music by the one of the two best bands in the world history.
