Great Job! And amazing game! Though I never owned it, I rented it and loved it. I do own FreQuency, though. I felt the graphics in Amplitude were better, but it changed some things from FreQuency, like how you get Freestyle and how the sections affected the tracks. Great game, though. DJ HMX is actually Kasson Crooker of Freezepop. Some other aliases are Symbion Project, Rance Warlock, and Cosmonaut Zero, all of which you'll find in the FreQ and Amp games.

Don't know much about Plural though.

Plural a.k.a Naoko Takamoto; she was an associate producer of this game and was also the lyricist and singer for this song, obviously.

She's still working for HMX -- her band, That Handsome Devil, of which she provides the back-up vocs, is actually featured in Rock Band 2. She has a profile up on the Rock Band forum site if anyone's interested.

I have bad amplitude days sometimes...where I can barely get through i am hated, and other days where I can 100% the damn song. Its a love hate relationship. Especially with Freq. Amplitude seemed so easy to me after freq.

There's a good reason that Frequency and Amplitude didn't catch on: They didn't offer some sort of peripheral that mainstream gamers crave (i.e. guitar).

Amplitude is just mentally exhausting, though. Honestly, I feel like going to sleep after trying the red track on Synthesized. I remember playing it one day and doing pretty well, only to have some kid who lived nearby knock on the door, selling candy. I was so pissed. It totally screwed up my game.

By the way, I think that it's really cool how Amplitude manages to make you think so much faster than you really think you can. It may sound odd, but I sometimes find myself pressing buttons and completing sections without consciously thinking about it.
