@ratiganrules well when you think about it, Ichabod WAS the villain! All he wanted from Katrina was money and power, and Brom actually loved her and although it may not look like it, Brom was actually was the hero in this story

@ratiganrules ..... look, I have made my point, Ichabod wanted nothing but money, and Brom wanted to marry Katrina because he truly loved her and wanted to start a life out in the country side and didn't want Ichabod to treat her poorly because he saw through his little scheme. So he scared him, dressed up as his fear so he would beat it. This all saved the one he loved from being just an object so Ichabod could be rich

@sonicfilms123 Look, I understand your opinion, but it's horribly wrong! Ichabod Crane was just a nice guy, and was a favorite to everyone in Sleepy Hollow, except Brom Bones. Brom wanted nothing more than to get rid of Ichabod, because he's trying to win over Katrina Van Tassel, whom Ichabod is secretly in love with. So you see, Brom Bones was actually the villain for scaring Ichabod with his story of the Headless Horseman.

the horseman was a hessian from germany, fighting the americans in american revolution but ended up having his head blown off by a cannon or got killed and had his head chopped off but nonetheless its a great story

im reading the original book and it said some people thought he went back to another placee to teach more. Others thought he got killed by the pumkin. They also think the horseman is a dead indian that got his head chopped off and is out for reveng. Weird huh!
