  • nickelodeon?!

  • That vid was from 2008... which means the 17 year olds that were watching it are now old enough to vote...

    President Paul 2012

  • Fox News tells me everything I need to know to keep me dumb!

  • I love this girl she is brilliant its nice to see the younger generation waking up

  • I wonder if Nick even aried this video. :P

  • $8 trillion dollars in debt, wow this video is old, talk about the good ole days of $8 trillion in debt, so sad

  • Oh shit, Nickelodeon is schooling CNN, Who Knew?

  • Strange to think that this was actually how I found out about Ron Paul, given the media's attitude against him back then. Ron Paul 2012

  • This girl is smarter than most people old enough to vote!!

  • ha ha, they can't say gynecologist on Nickelodeon

  • @MrAbolitionist She could have said obstetrician.

  • Smart girl. I guess there is hope for the younger generation.

  • As of June 2nd, 2010, the National Debt is Now $13 Trillion!!!!

It was only at $8 Trillion in 2008. Crazy!

Smart Girl. Go Ron and Rand Paul. Champions of the Constitution!

  • I love this video. I love her. Hope her uncle and cousin are alright.

    Go Ron Paul!

  • It is ironic that a kid's show such as Nickelodeon gets it and doesn' t censure open political debate as opposed to the major networks such as ABC, FOX, CNN, NBC, CBS, which seem to do. This girl is both cute and smart. And I thank you for your uncle who is serving in Iraq. How funny is that that a kids' show acts more "adult" than it's more mature counterparts?

  • By "using here" of course you mean giving the money back to the rightful owner "the taxpayer".

  • she's cute... and smart

  • I heard her uncle actually died. =(

  • Woo

  • did they show that, because the media has always been holding ron paul back because he's cutting more government and things like that, and that is what he stands for and putting it on nickelodeon would be like putting osama bin laden on the doorstep of the White House

  • smart kid

  • Wow, on nickelodeon huh?

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • girls about my age

    ron paul supporter

oh man, if only i could find them round here ha

  • Ron Paul recieved 274 votes, not alot.Though considering he wasn't on the ballot that is great.Imagine if he would have stayed in the race,it would have been AMAZING.He is great & he is still working 2 help US fix the problems SO STAND UP AND SPEAK OUT.He cured most folks APATHY,mine included. The

r3VOLution is what it is,BUT WE WANT PEACE & LOVE,help us while we still have time.Take time to call CONGRESS AND SIGN PETITIONS,& make it known WE ARE HERE!Remember we always have more then 2 choices!

  • its hard to run against Santa Clause

  • Obama is worse than McCain... but yeah Ron Paul is the man

  • I guess Obama is not as bad as McCain, but the lesser of two evils is still evil. Obama promises to help solve our issue in Iraq, but he will not keep us out of an interventionist foreign policy and will continue to increase both the size if the government and the defecit while decreasing the size our freedom.

But hey, he's the lesser of two evils. Right?

Instead of lesser of two evils, we should have gone for the not evil candidate, but we did not.

    Ron Paul 2012!

  • The logic that I'm trying to understand is that he "promises" to create more jobs for working people by taxing businesses that creates the jobs FOR the working people? So wouldn't that mean those businesses would cut back on employees and/or benefits as a result from Obama's Tax Plan?

    Do I have this correctly?

  • It doesn't make sense, but he's a good speaker so people think that his methods will work. The Obama/McCain race wasn't based so much on policy as much as charisma. If you are charismatic enough, you can make the public think that you policy is the best no matter how insane it is.

  • The two things I like: Ron Paul and Nickelodeon!

I wrote in Ron Paul in CA!

  • well sadly the voting is rigged in america anyway....

but when people realise this, they will start asking questions...

think for youself, dont do what thoose greedy corrupt governmentstell you to be.

i learnt that a long time ago

people still need to wake up and listen to RON PAULS message!

  • Fellow Americans, we cannot let McCain into the White House. Even if you don't trust/like Obama, you have to realize that McCain is just Bush 2.0. McCain voted 90% of the time with Bush, and if you don't believe me just Google it and find out for yourself. If we have 4 more years of Bush/McCain the economy will collapse, we will start more wars that we cannot afford and most of all we will lose our true freedom. Voting for Obama may not be winning, but it sure is better than losing.

  • obama is not the answer neither is mcain.

    VOTE RON PAUL!

  • Obama stands for Big government and more taxes, and he funded the war that is bankrupting out country, he is a liar and a theif. i hate him..

    RON PAUL!

  • Write in Ron Pauls name on the ballot. Cross the other bastards names out.

  • YEA RON PAUL!!!

  • Being the only superpower in the world I don't believe we should be practicing isolationism like Ron Paul suggests. We should use our political power to try to bring peace and stability to the nations of the world instead of hiding behind large oceans. I am not suggesting we use military means to achieve this goal just strong diplomatic discussion and creating new treaties.

  • Ron Paul & Dennis Kucinich as running mates for a new grassroots party created by we the people. Betcha' we could win, especially if we started sooner.

  • Who brain washed you? Kucinich & Paul are good friends. The only thing they disagree on in abortion & frankly men should not intfere in a woman's business. You should maybe consider vasectomy.

  • Go Ron Paul!!!

  • 8 trillion? holy shit this is so fucked up .. Pretty soon im gonna move out of the country if RON PAUL doesn't become president .. write RON PAUL in your ballots !!

  • oh it gets worse then that, it's actually like $9 trillion dollars in debt but we have like$53 Trillion dollars in obligations that we don't have the money to pay.

  • Done =)

  • sadist part about it is you didn't know this tell a 13 year old told you about the debt.

  • i didn't know until Ron Paul told me.. what are you talking about 13 year old? oh and Learn to spell .. now thats sad .. wanna be internet bad boy

  • To: chtbjunkie62:The number of votes cast in each state determines which candidate gets the electoral college votes for that state.

    Vote for Ron Paul.

He is on the ballot in Montana and perhaps will be in several other states, too.

    Vote for Dr. Paul!

  • what the hell is the point of voting when the electoral college picks the winner

  • When I first saw this on Nickelodeon (I only saw it once), I immediately didn't care who she was talking about (I didn't even know his name). It was only during the summer that I found out about Ron Paul and found out just how amazing he was. She really shouldn't have that doctor and delivering babies tidbit as her opening statement. That part definitely turned me off (I thought, what does being a doctor have to do with politics). She should have said that at the end.

  • I recently turned sixteen, by the way (explains why I was watching nick, lol). I wish I could vote.

  • Being a Doctor can solve certain issues in politics. As a Doctor, he would know what kind of medicine is best for American citizens and soldiers, he would have a valid opinion on medicare, and could definitely fix the healthcare system. I do see your point about opening first with that statement because even though it is a great characteristic and talent that he has, it is not a political position. But anyway, it's nice to know that someone now likes Ron Paul. I wish that you could vote, too.0_0

  • Ron Paul is the choice of children everywhere.

  • lol she should have been like.. "he also is legalizing marijuana! *pulls up bong and starts smokin sum green*"

  • Not just marijuana, everything.

  • mikhailesmith---> A. 9/11 had NOTHING to do with Iraq and we have never found WMD's... B. Iraqi operations were pre-emptive which is against American/Congressional Law... C. Muslims don't hate us for being rich and so forth, they hate us because we support Israel's genocidal campaigns against the muslims... D. Clinton and Obama are democrats and McCain used to be a democrat, this is a republic, not a democracy, and not to mention all 3 of them are active members in the CFR.

  • The constitution is nothing but a peice of paper that sanctions tyranny.

  • wow, if you are an American, you need to move out immediately. You are the last thing We the People need. Shitbag

  • You've done nothing but prove my point. Brilliant!

  • LOL at brainwashed people like yourself.

  • LOL at ignorant constitution worshipers like yourself.

Honestly, the story of the constitution is one of the most tragic government seizures of power in history.

  • ?....ignorant.....lol scrap

  • Well of course you're ignorant. Why else would you insist that to not champion the constitution is "brainwashedness".

  • Care to explain yourself or would you prefer to throw around insults and not get into a real argument?

  • mikhailesmith: In the beginning I wanted to vote for Clinton but then I found out that she was part of the CFR. That was a total shock to me so now I am for Ron Paul. Clinton is no good, why would she join the CFR? They control the media and sway Americans into thinking a certain way. Ron Paul is not part the CFR.

    watch this:

    watch?v=GYHLwua4JdI

  • What's wrong with CFR,I think you might be a little paranoid. They support foreign relations, that's bad?

  • no, they don't support foreign relations. They are all of the top elite from all countries, who get together and decide what is in store for the wars, money, and globalization. You don't quite know then, huh? Just do some research on what the CFR is and what they REALLY do.

  • The day when Americans are ready to accept that they're in Iraq and it doesn't matter what false rhetoric brought them there ,that will be the day that they will be ready to leave Iraq.Too much has been put into this war, leaving quickly would be surrendering and showing weakness. That's why setting a timetable for leaving would be bad,the enemy could just wait for that time and come out when the troops leave, then they'll set up more training camps around Iraq and plan strikes against the U.S.

  • You have no right to take my money to fund your war, yet you support doing that. You are nothing more than a thief. You are immoral scum wanting to rob me of my dignity. You are no better than those that you fight.

  • politics- its what you want to hear

    :D

  • all my friends have gone to Iraq, it would be nice if the war ended while they are still alive.

  • No, He's just not a neocon... He's a original republican, this is the kind of thinking republicans used to have. ;)

  • SHUT UP!

  • shut up was directed to mikhailesmith

  • SHUT UP"? That you logical rebuttle?lol

Bringing home troops immediatly would be a very big mistake.

  • who told you that ....oh yea the same poeple who said it was gonna be a cake walk and that the oil was gonna pay for every thing. ron paul never meant to bring them home emmediatly he would rely on the generals who already made contingency plans for leaving iraq and depend on them to send the troops home responsibly.

  • Look,i'm a Clinton supporter and that sounds like Hillary Cliton's plan for Iraq,it sounds like a good Idea but I don't think we should specifically be looking to leave in a rush because that would make us do certain things that aren't rational.I like Ron Paul too, but I think him and hillary clinon are a little wrong on that one.Iraqi troops still need training and there are foreign workers still in Iraq that need protection.

  • mikhailesmith: Sorry. PEACE & LOVE is the answer to everything. If everyone welcomed peace & love in their hearts, then there would be no need for war. You've got to stop thinking that war is the answer because at the end of the day - it's really not! We all come from the same source, so why are we wasting our energy hating each other? We should be friends with other countries. We should be exchanging gifts with one another, not demanding them. Love is the answer, it's the key to life.

  • Yes! I agree with you that peace and love is the answer and that's what the world needs more of,but how can we have peace and love with people who hate and want to kill us,remember 9/11.There are bad people in this world and bad situtaions that have to be dealt with, and you can't solve those problems by just saying "peace and love".Sometimes war is necessary.I support Hillary Clinton because she seems more assertive in foreign affairs than Obama but is a little less assertive than Mccain.Perfect

  • THEY HATE US BECAUSE WE ARE ALWAYS FUCKING IN THEIR AFFAIRS. How come you people cant get that through your pee brain. Get out of their lands, quit supporting and babying Israel and we would not be their enemy!!!! Think people-think a little please.

  • But why should we stay in there affairs if it costs us a lot of money and we don't get much benefit from it?

  • My only regret in supporting RP is that i cant vote! i am proud to be part of Ron Paul's NextGen voters!

  • wow how do i ask this chick to marry me

  • you all can bitch and scream at each other all you want, but it won't change the fact that Ron Paul is still by far the best canidate.

  • @bigmacattack05 I totally agree. Most Americans are not really aware as to what is going on. I wish everyone took a few minutes to understand that this is the only candidate who also would fight the federal reserve banking corporation. The US borrows money from this British bank using a fractal math system (ghost money). Please learn look it up. The Fed is not a US bank, it is a private foreign banking cartel!! I am a Democrat and I support Ron Paul because I did my research and you should too!

  • smart girl

  • Why is this kid smarter than most voters?

  • Most voters are ignorant to the reality of the issues. that is why the campaigns like vote or die piss me off so much. If you don't know anything about which candidate is best for you then you should play it safe and not vote instead of making a decision you may regret. Both parties prey on these ignorant voters to get elected. If everyone payed attention then everyone would be outraged.

  • There's only a few kids like her and I that support Ron Paul.

  • Impresive. More Positive stuff on tv like this please.

  • lolcats are funny!

  • I think Mr. Paul has good ideas.

It's just that his rabid Internet supporters are a pack of fools.

  • Then your clearly a fool

  • Just like that.

My political opinions therefore label me as a fool?

Sure, I've called Ron Paul people fools, but that is only because they make irrational statements and look for the easiest way to blame the "system."

Not because they support Ron Paul; like I said, he has good ideas, but because MOST Paul people are wacked-out.

If you told you're "ZEITGIEST" theories to Dr. Paul, he'ed think you were crazy.

And Paul people always mock me for not supporting him. How unjust is that?

    HUBRIS

  • I have been reading the comments under this video and about 5% of the comments are from overzealous Ron Paul fans. Another 5% are from rabid anti-Paul posters who like riling up the overzealous Ron Paul fans. The other 90% are from regular people who like what this girl had to say and support Ron Paul. It's easy to skip past all the green and focus on the red.

I'm glad you like Ron Paul. We need more voters to put more Pauls, Kuciniches, and Gravels into office.

  • that was such a beautiful reply!

  • Ever consider that she was coached..?

  • Good points. Kids showing an interest might influence their parent's vote aswell. It can't hurt.

  • 10 year old can vote in the 2016 election. Instilling the ideals of liberty in the youth is more important than converting the old.

It's like Ron Paul said, this movement isn't about Ron Paul, it's about freedom from tyranny. Ron Paul is a catalyst, not the idea.

  • wow at least she supported her idea with facts and you just gave a very dumb reply to it!

  • not judging by age just a comment,

  • Look at that, if you want to know the truth ask a kid, they'll tell you!

  • I see we judge truth by age now?

  • Personally, someone's age should not be a factor in determining whether or not their opinion is viable.

  • We desperately need Paul, he's very logical and we've been lacking that for a while. It's a shame he doesn't have the numbers. He's still in the race though as of today.

  • cough cough 9 trillion....

  • 9 trillion and climbing...

if we were to sell america and all its resources, we would be able to squeeze 11 trillion, barely enough to get ourselves out of our OWN DEBT. we have a problem, and the war in iraq isnt helping US, which is what is most importaint and what we need to focus on.

  • love to see kids today speaking out for what they believe in

  • What a very beautiful and smart young girl. RON PAUL YALL!!!

  • I already went the other day to ronpauldinatetoday.blogspot and just went again but it won't let me vote anymore.

I have always written to congress about the paper ballot and I just got done watching CNN 3-10-08

Thanks, More people need to pull together to support RON PAUL because he really does still have a chance. I have seen weird things happen in only ONE DAY!!! Get out and support RON PAUL YALL!!

  • smart girl.

  • WOOPS sorry musicloverofall, I tried to click thumbs up, and accidently hit "spam"!

    I agree, Ron Paul is the only candidate who will do anything; making promises of change is so old news, that the accompanying "I promise these aren't just promises" is old too! Obama, McCain, Clinton: they all tell us it'll be better, but never get around to explaining why its bad, how they will fix it, or what the cost will be; they just dance around the issue, insisting "its bad";

    Ron Paul doesn't; go Ron!

  • Finally, somebody gets it. These candidates are incompetent and don't focus enough on the issues and policies. I admire Ron Paul's straight shooting myself. I'm so disappointed that my first election will be between people I have fundamental differences with on certain levels. I don't entirely agree with RP either (although far more than politicians in our Congress today, plus his economic views are stellar), so I guess I'll just have to write in Ron Paul.

  • WOW!A kid gets it,BUT all these other brainwashed sheeple, don't?hmm "living is easy with eyes closed indeed"

  • thats what im saying. freetarded sheeple.

  • and what do you suppose he lost? Ron Paul is WINNING!!! He is winning because he is getting the word out about what he stands for! I will write him in if I have to do it with my own blood!! RON PAUL for President 2008!! Watch the news around June 21!! REVOLUTION MARCH 2008!!!!!

  • damn that girl is SMART FOR HER AGE!

  • yep.

  • I agree he is an amazing business man but his success in Mass. came due to compromises and the fact that he was already a moderate republican did not hurt. He should stay in the private sector. By turning around other businesses he can help the economy more than the federal government (run by him or others) could ever do

  • why would you give it 3 stars because of nickelodeon? Are you so damn immature that you have to rate low on things for something as petty as that to make it look like you're a badass?

  • And THIS is where the rEVOLution will be our strongest.....Our future....

  • Ron Paul march in dc

  • WOW!!! So intelligent and well spoken. If only more of our young people would just listen to DR.PAUL.

  • And to think i support him and i'm 11...

    RON PAUL 2008!

    (Really)

  • ron paul is so smart, his policies would save this country... but it seems the nation is ready for a change. they want what we have now, and it sucks. im 16, and this girl is right... these will be my problems in the future, not the adults.

  • From the mouths of babes, so true.

  • FTW

  • oh and my other "favorite" comment was when He also wrote: "Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action."

  • Did you read the polls he was quoting from? Do you believe in affirmative action and all of the 'equal rights' socialistic trends our government is following. Just because he quotes a poll, or trends, does not make him racist, which is what it seems you are saying. If each of us looks to his own house, to clean it up, and then focus on our neighbor, to help as we can and they need, then we are following the middle way-not to the far right or the far left. Read The Law, and The Constitution.

  • Opinions are what polls are taken from. To say that because you live somewhere, that means that you see the whole picture is ridiculous. We know that 95% of blacks/hispanics/etc aren't criminals. He said that 5% made wise decisions concerning the future freedom of this nation. If a person is told from birth up that the job of the federal government is to care and provide for the people within its control, that person will believe it-but this is falsehood! Personal responsibility is the Word!

  • hsmomma

Scripture says to take care of your house (self and family) first (love thyself), then love thy neighbor as thy self. Very good words to live by! ^_^

  • Quite frankly I don't get what's wrong wtih that statement. If someone who had different opinions said that 95% of blacks had sensible opinions, would it really sound bad? I mean, if opinion polls indicidate that 95% of black people disagree with Ron Paul, and Ron Paul (like any other person) finds his own views the most sensible, then is it really strange that he would consider those who disagree wtih him not sensible? I mean whether he said it or not...

  • thats where you wrong.black people have the same concerns as any other person, war healthcare, jobs, I mean come on. If any thing more white would vote for the corporate whore hillary because they cant vote for a positive black man though. by the way, did you hear the criticism he gave the clintons for nafta and how terrible nafta was? he was speaking to auto workers.

  • emancipateorlando -

Lincoln freed African americans, he wasn't black... William Wilberforce, and then Newton (Amazing Grace author) fought ferociously to end slavery, or the slave trade, by Britain - they weren't black.

Please be more respectful to Dr Paul and those who hope he is our next President, alright?

Paultards is such a childish thing to say.

  • Maybe you should do a bit of research before you insert your entire foot in your mouth... for instance, Prodigy from Mobb Deep has an interview, where he specifically says hat he'd like to see a black president, but the issues are more important, and he is voting for Ron Paul. The DJ that was doing the interview even tried 3 or more times to lead Prodigy towards Obama, and Prodigy shot him down each time. Think before you speak....

  • Where was this interview, I'm a Prodigy fan and find that kind of interesting. I didn't think he could vote due to his felony conviction.

  • although that is a very general statement, there is truth to it

  • Not necessarily true, I know some black people that can't stand Obama. I know even more people regardless of race that don't know a damn thing about politics and are voting for him because it's trendy or he speaks well. Most black people in the primaries voted for him, but who wouldn't vote for him over Hillary Clinton? That's coming from an economic (not social) conservative who doesn't agree with many of his viewpoints. But he does have the best potential to sincerely bridge cultural gaps.

  • I wanted Obama at tha start but fuck him hes not as real as Ron Paul and hes just another C.F.R puppet Fuck Mclame even more tho. That little biTCH! Im voteing Ron Paul,

  • oh and by the way, I DO agree with other things he says, like the iraq war and nafta, and the usa being in bed with isreal. but there is more to life than that, and equally important issues. some one explain this. oh yea, and you cant deny that allot of white supremacists support him. start clicking on peoples channels from his page of subs. especially the early ones. so again, of name calling, explain it to me instead. who knows, maybe you can change my mind. I am an open minded individual.

  • ok dont flag me this is a genuine question. If ron pual is not racist, why do I see a HUGE amount of his suppoters on here that are admitted white supremists? and why did he say in '92 "f you have ever been robbed by a black teenaged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be." About blacks in Washington, D.C., Paul wrote, "I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal." I am being genuine, please explain

  • well ok think of it this way if you look at the texas state prisions they are actually full of hispanic and african american people just because he made a comment like that does not make him racist its a fact so you got to look at it like that i know he said D.C. but it still goes you know now im not racist no way thats wrong but its fact no one can ignore it

  • Just because a white supremist agree with one's position does not make him or her racist. Obama got endorsed by Lewis Ferricon but most people would agree he is not an anti-semit or black separatist. Racist support him because(like in the 50s and 60s) they think a greater power in the states could reverse some of the forward progress that has happened. they think he will hesitate to use fed intervention. they are wrong. He is a constitutionalist and will use fed power due to the 14th amendment

  • As an RP supporter I am always confused by the amount of racists that support him, especially when he calls racism a small minded ideology. Maybe it's those letters written by Lew Rockwell that people think RP wrote. Personally, I see race as completely irrelevant. I've never heard it explained like that before. Do you have any other ideas about why you think racists support him?

  • glad to learn politics from little kids.

  • makes me proud:)
