I First Heard This Yestarday In Swansea For The Brass Band Finals And This Was The Championship Sections Peice, And I Heard Cory Playing It And God The Were Good, In My Band Im A 3rd Cornet Player And There 3rd Cornet Was Equal In My Band To The Principal But It Is A Wonderful Peice, And The Bloke Speaks To Much At The Start !!!

this was the night that Cory and Fodens were both performing in Northern Ireland! Thankfully Fodens were here on the Friday night too so managed to hear both bands! Super weekend!!

It is a shame that the cut is in one of the best bits - think we miss the fanfares on the 1st repeat strain - but the band is s**t hot none the less

@fatyoshiman No, I have to agree with bandoism here, Fodens deserve better than Mike Fowles.

@fatyoshiman I've been very lucky to play under Mike Fowles a number of times and i totally agree. Hes helped out numerous amounts of times with the youth band i played with throughout the years and also has conducted another championship section band that i play in. Mike is easily the most enjoyable and best conductor around in my eyes (and ears)
