  • After like 1 week of anger, I have finally finished it! For the beginners (like myself), it isn't impossible, but I suggest you go and learn how to actually hold the crochet/yarn. I had to go YouTube it and the rest was just knowing where to but the needle into the holes.

Also, I realized that after putting it on that I'm going to have to bobby pin it so it'll stay on my head.

  • Yeses finally did this one right!!! Thank yu so much :)

  • It's fine with me that you don't know the crochet termonolgy, you have the video that explains how everything is done - it's very ez to comprehend. I remember your first beret, i was like ok, ok and can tell you have learned more - it's funn!! My suggestions for the hat would be the Peek-A-Boo Beret!!! i think it's cuuuute!

  • i like ur hat tutorials, i think they come out so very cute and i think you're great!!!! am currently making this hat right now. thanks a lot for your videos. i'm a subscriber, yay!

  • Great tutorial, thank you ...where can I find the written instructions?

  • What size hook ?!

  • You used double crochets, slip stitches and single crochets, nice video, nice beret and I'm surely going to make one ;)

  • This is a fantastic video. Although I've crocheted for awhile, this is the first time I've attempted a beret. I had to make a few adaptations because I didn't have a 5mm hook but it was easy to do. It doesn't matter that you don't know the correct terms, your instruction and camera work said it all and because you learned without them, I'm sure many beginners will give this a go. Brilliant tutorial, well done.

  • when im crocheting the beret, mine is not curling up! please help!!

  • I really love your DIY crochet videos. Please make more.

  • I really like this hat and love the instructions you make it very simple. Thank you and post more : )

  • I've only watched your crocheting videos and they have gotten so much better. Don't let anyone put you down. As long as what your doing is working for you that that is all that matters. I find your videos very very easy to understand... I was having a really hard time learning until I started watching you... Keep doing what your doing.. take care.

  • It took me about 1 hour and 30 mins....

  • We don't get that yarn in the UK, what weight or thickness is it? I'd love to try this beret. Thank-you for making the tutorial.

  • Sorry I didn't see that last note at the end of the video, silly me..

  • Thank you for the video! This is such a cute hat, but I just wished you had better crochet grammar. But I love the hat, I made one myself and its so great! Oh and for future reference that 'half stitch' is called a single crochet. :)

Thanks for showing me how to make this!

  • @McSpamela What did you do for the brim? :) did you just double crochet it all, or can you please explain what you did? Love this design, but I'd like to add a brim to mine too :)
