  • I don't care for all that trilling she does, and the key is too low. Jackie Evancho sings it better.

  • @dieseldog00 You can't compare this famous Mezzo with a child with an annoying vibrato. However that child has a pure voice, but not for opera i'm afraid.

For the same reason Charlotte Church can't.

Anne Sophie can sing just everything within her range. Actually she does.

  • @Romanticdance Not trying to compare. Jackie is only 11 years old so of course her voice is not in the operatic class but she is one of the best if not THE best class/cross singers in the world right now. Jackie has said she doesn't want to sing opera and we her fans hope she doesn't change her mind. In fact the only other aria she has sung is Nessun Dorma.

As for Jackie's vibrato to my ears it is perfect; not too fast not too slow just right. :)

  • @dieseldog00 Allright no hard feelings.

Jackie has a pure voice but for populair themes.

Not everyone should sing opera thanks God.

Some singers sadly can't control their vibrato.

However slight vibrato makes it human.

Well about Anne, this was not her best performance. But I have heard her in other occasions even more beautifull. She's a great lady.

  • The singing is good; however, the timbre is a bit too light for the role of Serse.

  • Tiene en sus ojos la belleza de los que hacen lo que mas les gusta......

    simplemente delicada y maravilloso.... GRACIAS

  • This is gorgeous. Only thing I'd do is (during recording) keep the orchestral sound down slightly - for me, it was just a tad overwhelming (but nicely played).

  • voce soprannaturale, che bello pterla scoltare dal vivio...

  • She's the door to Heaven.

Living in a world we only can dream of.

Now and than she decends to reminds us that there's more between Heaven and Earth friend Horatius.

  • @Romanticdance The Shakespeare quote is "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy." It's a good quote as most people don't even dream that such music or such singing exists.

  • @137Newton You're right off course, but it was just a reference to her quality.

  • FINALLY! Someone great singing this as they would have heard it = baroque pitch F Major. She has to be the world's most accomplished Mezzo, no idea why others have more hits. Always listen to her version. Saw her live in London, the voice is staggering , wide , high and low low low; nothing she can't sing.

  • Divine!!!
