I have this phone and it is awesome. Battery life is a little harsh but for such a beast of a device you have to expect that. I have a charger in the car and in the house so that's never a problem. Plus free battery saving apps. If that's such a problem go with the Maxx. Otherwise I have no complaints about it. BEASTLY!

I'm pretty sure that using wifi will actually decrease battery life. Turning GPS off will help, but using cellular connections (4G) is much more battery efficient than using 802.11x connections. Typically the wireless chipsets demand more power because the speed is much higher (up to 600mbps for N). So I don't really know what you mean by expecting to save battery by using wifi.

Strange. I compared this phone with my GS2 Skyrocket at a Besbuy and came away with the impression that the clarity on this display (due to the pixel density) was better, but the display itself just wasn't as pleasant to look at as the GS2. I'll have to do another comparison.

It maybe the thinnest smartphone in the market right now, but the lag while pinching to zoom? That is the deal breaker to me. And I don't understand why Vincent overlooked the lag, didn't mention while doing this review. And I completely disagree with Motorola's SAMOLED Advance being better than Samsung's SAMOLED+.

@Jacobcellisgreken I'm posting this from my razr and I asked all the store employees they said the razr is much better device. I don't think you'll of wrong with any. The screen is not that great on s2 and razr's is amazing. Galaxy is no that much faster but just a tad smoother and touch wiz is very cartoonish. My advice is play with both demos in stores!! :D

The only diffrent thing about them is that galaxy s2 got a bigger but a little bit dimmer screen than the razr, If you are a guy that love looking at films and stuff like that on you cellphone then the samsung galaxy s2 is the best choice for you. If you just like texting and playing a little bit of games then the razr is your choice.

@whipaura00 the cnet uk review says with decent use it will be alright for an average day's use. all smartphones have crappy battery life but to minimise the problem you can edit the cpu settings so it's not suckin battery when the phone's not in use. i've got 'setcpu' on my phone and it really really helps. this has a dual-core cpu remember!

I Still don't get why always, phones are reviewed under Wi-Fi. There is no way to find out how fast are the unloads and downloads is, in the combination of the dual core processor & LTE. Wi-fi always makes a phone processor and browsing faster. Some phones are not as fast as they seem to be while on Wi-fi
