your vid. is the best about blues scales on here, some kid is trying to teach them to us from across the bloody room !!! thanks a bunch! time to practice. piano is so damn hard!
Very intriguing playing. Great lessons, but with your skill, I was waiting for you to just go crazy and start playing some awesome, soulful blues. Lets have a video of you jamming! =D
Hey there, i'm a piano and keyboard teacher and i'm very impressed by both your playing and approach to teaching. I think it's great that you do this for free and it's good to learn tricks from as many people as possible. Keep up the excellent work and thanks :)
Great video, thanks. I'm mainly a guitarist, but trying to pick up a bit of piano too, but don't feel like paying for lessons. Stuff like this is really helpful.

The whole "7ths and 9ths" you are referring to are probably referring to chord symbols. Check out some of my later videos for more info on chords.
Major Pentatonic Scale: 1,2,3,5,6 of a scale
Minor Pentatonic: I, b3, 4, 5, b7
Blues Scale: Same as Minor pentatonic but with a b5 or #4 as well.
I think you may be thinking of a diatonic scale, which consists of all the notes.
Hope this clears things up a bit and if it confused you further, I apologise :p
