well this icom is not very good on short wave if u live in the city, a lot of QRM's. simple older yaesu would do a lot better there.
It is always cooler to make ur own radio.
jes it is,BUT for 600e new yaesu ft857d with hf+uhf,vhf;;;; I dont know......it is simple to work and buy new,and problem fixed. i work mobile with ft857d with atas antenna end im happy with it....wery happy...
