  • how do i add accappellas, be it wav or mp3 to a track that im biulding in logic?

  • how do i add accappellas, be it wav or mp3 to a track that im biulding in logic?

  • Just so people know, when you open a new project in logic it isnt all set up like that for you to just start recording. The software is One of the top DAW's in the world and is made to resemble a real studio as closely as possible. This aint no grageband or fruity loops. I recommend that if you want to use this program or any other top of the line DAW's, that you have some sort of background and training in the audio industry. Other wise it can be very disorienting and can break confidence.

  • @BarcaBarca1992 love it man!

  • I got One Big question!

I used the ableton intro version so far and want to buy Logic studio! I produce electro/fidget house.

I've heard crookers and some other big DJs are using Logic.

I wanna make a lot of synth and Bass stuff and a Lot of beatprocessing! some voice and drum Effects

Should i buy Logic Studio or ableton live 8?

  • glad I'm not the only one who uses the ole' coat-hanger and pantyhouse trick ;) haha.

  • sounds like the Novation advertising voiceover person. probably is lol nice video!

  • Does this program support Windows or do they have like some kind of alternative for windows

  • @B1gHe4d Logic = Mac, the best for windows thats closest to Logic, is Cubase. But if you only want to record Audio (Using a microphone or an audio jack) Pro Tools is best :)

  • @B1gHe4d grab cubase instead bruh

  • nice

  • is there anywhere where i can get the girls music :O

  • and at the end of the day it was all spiffingly good fun

  • really useful tutorial. Should follow this up. Be keen to get an intuitive look into using Flex...

  • @TheShbi Never mind just found it. Another brilliant one :). Don't get many Logic Tutorials for instrumental recording so these are reall useful. Think it's time to upgrade to 9.

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial! Very detailed, and one of the best I've seen

  • Continued from below...

I have an old analog drum machine - I use that to compose beats, then record onto computer but the click track/tempo, measures is being dictated by the software.

I think that sucks and I know I can ignore it but, is there a way to just eliminate that and work on a song organically. Software seems to suck the stretchiness and varying pace of songs that give it life and give it something special. Hip me because I just can't get a straight answer so I thought I'd try you.

  • I've been looking at all these DAW apps and most look great, but what if I don't want to follow a product provided loop with set tempo but rather I determine the tempo based on my personal composition and feel.

For example, if I have been developing a song just on guitar, why should the software dictate the tempo for me. Why should I have to follow a click track.

  • @wendileona That's not a problem, you can do that as well but sometimes have a guide tempo can help. For example, some people feel that they can play/perform better if they have a beat to play along to as a tempo guide. What usually happens in the example I've mentioned is that once the performance is laid down, is to take out the beat.

  • Really sweet vocal. The backing track itself is quality.

  • Very useful techniques. Thank you. Perhaps you can help me in this. I have M-Audio Fast Track Ultra (Audio Interface). Everythings good except recording the Vocals. If I hit new track, Stereo, It allows me to choose two inputs but how can I plug in mic in two inserts???

so If I record as it is, it record just one channel. Beside, the volume of my condencer mic (in sends) is very low. If I increase the gain, then it records the noice along with a low volume of my voice.

    Any tips?

  • @janz1111 Look at your mixer channel where the voice is coming through. There is a button that switches recording/playback from mono to stereo, so you have a choice.

  • do someone know how you spell the singers songwriters name? she sounds very good

  • My microphone keeps making a random click noise in Logic Pro, its a AKG Perception 220 and im using a phonic firefly interface and when i hit record ready in logic a random click noise comes out the speakers and headphones every like 5 seconds does anyone know how to fix this?

  • WHAT KIND OF MIXER IS THAT...??

  • @pablochacon11 Do you mean the mixer on the table by the KRK speaker? If so, its a Novation Zero SL Mk 2 MIDI controller :)

  • Good stuff. Thanks

  • Hi Rob, nice video . Can u help me to set up logic pro to work with my condenser mic . Th set up i use doesnt give any sound at all from my behringer B2 Pro mic. hope you can help me. am really stuck with as i want to make some music. based on your video i bought many products.thanks

  • @POELLMEL1

What audio interface are you using? Providing that is set right, you should have to only select an input on the vocal channel (just about the channel fader, click record enable (or "i" for input monitor) and you should hear it. You have to make sure Phantom is enabled on the mic input on your interface, condensor mics need that to work.

Excuse me I am telling you what you already know. I am using logic a lot right now and would like to help you.

  • You look a lot like the young Hugh Laurie.

  • This is a really useful video! Thanks!

  • she has a sweet voice

  • very amazing software

  • Haha I love your pop filter!!

  • Very helpful video, really insightful perhaps my attached video might help if you want to gain some more technical prowess.

    Cheers
