  • Everytime i listen to him and everytime i get awed by his performance. Trying to play with his hand position is very very difficult especially in faster speeds where you need the power of fingers not the whole hand. Really an inspiration for all tabla players.

  • Very Very nice Tabla. I really enjoyed it. I think it is very hard to explain it in words. Great Great Great.

  • Wonderfull stuff by Chatterjee.

I find it amazing how many who comment on Great Indian music masters are always comparing this to that, playing wonderful music like that is not a contest, it´s not about who can finish his tabla or sitar solo the quickest, this is Art and not a sport.

  • gr8 stuff so proud of them for keeping our viraasat alive, can't thank them enough.

  • Effortless!!

  • Habibuddin Khans compositions i really like. Delicious balance of bass and treble.

  • His dexterity and tonal clarity is never less than astounding. Wah, Anindo ji.

  • ssgKasmir loda , pls dont discuss music, your forte seems to be terrorism, recruiting female suicide bombers etc.u jahil, pls go n do that does not require greymatter.

  • @SSGKashmirSoldier You cannot judge who is better Ustad Tari Khan or Pandit Anindo Chatterjee because these people are beyond are scope of thinking.

  • glad you got the video/audio sync sorted out this time! great stuff

  • Amazing. It is sad that Ustad Habibuddin Khan's fierce rivalry with Ustad Ahmedjan Thirakwa got the better of him.

  • haven't heard about that rivalry, care to elaborate?

  • Ud.Thirakwa sahib was always treated like and called the King of Tabla (and he was). But Ud. Khan felt that he never got his fair share of recognition and was bitter about that. Let there be no doubt that Ud. H Khan was at Thirakwa sahib's level (not style but dexterity). But you can't have two kings at once. That is the sad part.

  • Shabash!
