facepalm Chris, facepalm. I also live in Seattle, and I am also a coffee addict. You of all people should know better lol. Optimal temperature is in the 200 to 202 degree range. Your beans should be bought WHOLE, not pre-ground, so that you can grind them yourself for the most fresh flavor. Also, buying flavored blends only serves to ruin the natural flavor of the beverage. And you get the best flavor when you use a coffee maker that slowly soaks the beans to draw out the natural oils....

I'll stick with my cofffee maker. Cool gadget, but a french press would be much easier and less dangerous (pressing down on a container full of hot water seems a bit odd to me).

@TokyoNerd I know everyone says this, but my friend used to drink them A LOT! He recently had to go into surgery to remove part of his liver because of it. Don't drink them too much, coffee is better for you than energy drinks.
