Your reviews always rock, and Ioved the song in the beginning (I heard it for the first time when I saw your vid). In fact, during your review, I decided to have another YouTube window open in the background with "In the Sun" playing at the lowest audible volume :)

Here's my take. It's a good scent not great. 2 weeks ago, in the morning I wore a sample of musc ravageur on Monday, I could still smell it at 3pm (7 hours later) Tuesday I wore Hermessence Ambre Nargulie, at 4pm I got 2 complements from female coworkers. Wednesday I wore Noir Epices, this one received the most complements (3) last complement at 4pm again. These Malle fragrances do have longevity they are unique and they do project even if you think they are not.

I know it's not on the same level as a Frederic Malle, but Clinique's Happy is weak too. I have literally bathed in it...seriously I think you need 3 applications for Happy to actually stay on my skin. I guess Bigarade by Malle is out for me...thanks Brandon.

I really didn't care for this one. I'm not sure if I even liked the smell but the longevity is really suspect. Outside of Musc Ravageur I haven't been impressed with the Frederic Malle line.

Great vid, actually thought the same thing after I got my samples...I wouldn't mind it being short lasting (as I just plan accordingly) but it's the projection being poor in my experience with the samples.

Thus why I'm looking more and more at Hermes Sur la Nil

This one is very tart and dry. Not a drop of sweetness to it. Eau de Pamplemousse Rose by Hermes is a Ellena creating that focuses on bitter citrus notes. It's also a fraction of the price of Bigarade Concentree. Thanks for the review, Brandon!

Good review and I agree it doesnt last very long or project very well.

Check out the Atelier Orange Sanguine smells similar and I get it to last longer and its alot cheaper, its only at NM though

great review. i still refuse to buy any niche fragrances, maybe creed as an execption.just to much money for something you cant even smell yourself , like whats the point?oo and it was funny i saw an article the other day saying that some chemicals in fragrances can really mess up your testosterone and sperm counts over a period of time with prolonged use
