It's more people coming out, as its ok in this world to be a non believer now without getting as much shit as you could earlier in history. But this is also because people have become more skeptical and logical. And it's not exactly a online "fight" either. We've had a lot of progress on certain theories like evolution, that is now fact and taught in schools. That can give insight to non believers too.

But it's at a time where it's chilled out, and more christians have become more comfortable with non believers and other religions. Some don't, but those are just extremists. You must remember religion has done some good to the world, and bad. Most believers just hope there's something after death, since it's unknown what exactly happens (I think nothing does, your just worm food). But it makes them comfortable that it takes them to a good place. It's not logical to me, but it is to them.

You must remember religion has done some good to the world, and bad. Some Satanists rely on a leader or Satanic Bible. Some Atheists rely on someone else to say "Religion is crap," and they end up following like, you guessed it, obedient sheep.

Just because I am Christian doesn't mean I'm a bible-waving sheep. I honestly don't know where you're going with this. I'm not doing any of that, and the vast majority of Christians out there are just God-fearing people. Most Christians just don't like homosexuality the same way I don't like chocolate ice cream. The only criticism which applies to many of Christians is oppressing gays. This is wrong, and most people (not Christians, PEOPLE) are too dense to let God deal with them. They have a right to be gay just as we have a right to protest it.

How do you reconcile the fact that there are over 38,000 officially recognized denominations in Christianity; all of whom cannot agree with each other entirely on the Bible's message? Surely if the Bible's message is as "clear" as you've said it is, we would not see so many internal fractions in dispute with one and another over which interpretation and/or perspective is the correct one.
