I have been exploring something, and would like others feedback. I have put together a little video to clarify this theory. "Was Leonardo Da Vinci" bigendered or transgendered? Is the painting "Mona Lisa" really a self portrait of Leonard while cross dressed? And Is the name Mona Lisa, Leonardo's alias name when dressed as female or "woman"? /watch?v=nAOwNcu5UDI
some females like(?) to dominate the conversation and be the center of attention, even when they don't know what they are talking about. I think some females like to control people around them.. and they do this by being loud, fast talking and interrupting people that are talking and bring conversation back them-self. This may also be a form of narcissism. Or perhaps they are compensating for fear and perhaps unhealed trauma in the past.
Brin, you definitely covered the typical average behavior for men and women. But I have seen cases where women were more technically savvy than their husbands. Or maybe their husbands are just big sissies. The other behavior differences you will definitely see is how men and women interact with their own gender versus opposite gender. I think we learn these as “proper behavior in public” when we are growing up. I could list a bunch of them and some are actually funny.
Interesting question... except you look and sound kinda manly so how ppl react to you as a "woman" more like a man-trying-to-pass-as-a-woman. which i'd imagine not the best reaction. yikes
This is a VERY VERY interesting topic for me, being a person who identifies as a woman all of the time. There are certain things that I don't fit into as a general rule, especially with sex and with growing up overweight (guys were not as nice or as accommodating because I didn't fall into their spectrum of someone they would want to date/sleep with) it makes me want to see the conversation at the forums! Great post, Brin.
@twopointsforhonesty Well, hello darling! :D You would absolutely be welcome in the forums. It's for people who identify anywhere on the gender spectrum and that includes Allies. :)
@twopointsforhonesty By the way, can I tell you just how cool you are for phrasing your gender identity as "a person who identifies as a woman all of the time." It's just a really cool way to show that you're aware of gender identity being something that may not match expectations.
First, Brin, You Looked GREAT In This Video. Second, It Is Hilarious, Your Pointing Out The Stereotypical Things I've Reciently Noticed. I've Always Been The "Gentleman Princess" In My Group Of Friends, So They Automatically Expect Me To Do Certian Things, Or Know Certain Things, Without Stepping Over This Invisible Line. You've Given Me Even More To Think About Before Bed....
